What You'll DoAs Senior Manager, Software Engineering at Imagine Pediatrics, you will collaborate with product leaders and other stakeholders to deliver tech-enabled solutions that further our mission of ensuring every child with special health care needs get the care and support they deserve.
You will:
- Build, develop, and mentor 1-2 teams of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Facilitate the execution of our technical roadmap with a focus on data-driven decisions, timely and iterative product development, simplicity, and value delivery.
- Continually support the growth and development of engineers on the team by providing timely and constructive feedback
- Support the growth and development of peers inside technology through collaboration, mentorship, and feedback.
- Communicate with business stakeholders to understand goals and translate them to technical architecture and requirements; estimate product scopes and timelines
- Collaborate with team to contribute to technical solutions that satisfy business requirements with a focus on scalability, stability, efficiency, maintainability and extensibility
What You Bring & How You QualifyFirst and foremost, you're passionate and committed to reimagining pediatric health care and creating a world where every child with special health care needs gets the care and support they deserve. You will need:
- 9+12 years of software development experience; 5+ years of experience managing engineers
- Prior experience at a hypergrowth company required; healthcare experience preferred
- Experience managing teams that have purview across a cloud-based tech stack (AWS preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated history of working asynchronously and remotely with clear and candid communication.
- A continual drive to clear the path for your team so that they can do their best work; comfortable jumping into unfamiliar territories to achieve this goal
- Passion for developing engineers in a full range of professional skills; experience developing peers or managing managers preferred
- Ability to maintain a healthy balance between speed to proof-of-concept and robust, ideal systems.
- Experience driving organization-wide initiatives to improve outcomes in engineering.
- Experience in using AI for technical and organizational transformation.
What We Offer (Benefits + Perks) The role offers a base salary range of $190,000 - $220,000 in addition to annual bonus incentive, competitive company benefits package and eligibility to participate in an employee equity purchase program (as applicable).
