Lead the Future of Seniors Services

 

Health Services is seeking a strategic and collaborative leader to join the Seniors Services leadership team as Senior Manager, Seniors Services Integration & Innovation.

 

Reporting to the General Manager, Seniors Services, you will lead strategic initiatives, system integration efforts, partnerships, and innovation projects that advance the division's priorities and improve outcomes for seniors and caregivers. This role serves as a key link between Seniors Services and external partners, including Ontario Health, government ministries, community organizations, and academic institutions, helping to shape the future of seniors care across Peel.

What You Will Do

• Lead complex strategic initiatives and transformation projects that support the Seniors Services Strategic Plan.
• Champion innovation, research, evaluation, and continuous quality improvement across the division.
• Build and strengthen partnerships with health system leaders, community agencies, government partners, and academic institutions.
• Develop business cases, strategic plans, briefing notes, Council reports, and executive-level recommendations.
• Represent Seniors Services at regional, provincial, and system-level tables, influencing policy, funding, and service integration opportunities.
• Lead organizational change initiatives and support the implementation of innovative service delivery models.
• Oversee divisional budgets, resource planning, and performance measurement.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to a team of managers and professional staff.
• Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.

What You Bring

• University degree in a relevant field; a Master's degree in Health Sciences, Health Administration, Business Administration, or related discipline is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive leadership experience in a senior management capacity.
• Experience leading large-scale transformation and change initiatives.
• Knowledge of seniors services, long-term care, community support services, integrated care, or a related health sector environment.
• Proven ability to build strategic partnerships and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
• Strong financial, strategic planning, and project management skills.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.
• Demonstrated success leading high-performing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong political acuity, sound judgement, and a collaborative leadership style.

In this role, you’ll benefit from the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement that prioritizes meaningful in-person connection. A minimum of two days per week on-site is expected, with additional in-person presence as operational needs evolve. This arrangement allows for a blend of in person and hybrid work that adapts to support both organizational priorities and employee flexibility and is subject to change over time.

 

It's important to note that your off-site work location must be within the province of Ontario.
