This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.

As a Senior Manager, Segment Controller, you will hold a highly influential and strategic position within our finance team. Your role will encompass overseeing and driving the controllership function for the designated segment at a senior level. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with accounting policies and regulations, and drive the financial close processes.

In this role, you will be accountable for developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures specific to the segment, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including regional finance teams, tax, legal, and other stakeholders, to drive process improvements and efficiency in financial operations. As a Senior Manager, you will provide strategic financial thoughtfulness and insights to facilitate decision-making at the segment level. Your expertise in financial reporting and thoughtfulness will be instrumental in providing valuable recommendations and guidance to senior management.

You will impact the organization by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, driving process improvements, and providing valuable financial insights to facilitate decision-making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Guide and oversee the controllership function for the designated segment at a senior level
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting policies and regulations
  • Drive the financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial statements
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures specific to the segment, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and efficiency in financial operations
  • Provide strategic financial thoughtfulness and insights to facilitate decision-making at the segment level
  • Manage and develop a team of controllership professionals
  • Serve as a key point of contact for segment finance matters, representing the segment in discussions with senior management and other stakeholders


YOU MUST HAVE
  • CPA or equivalent certification
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting or controllership roles
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial consolidation tools
  • Excellent guide and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong thoughtfulness and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices
