Job Description:Job SummaryThe Senior Manager - SAP Architecture & Solutions leads the design, integration, and governance of enterprise SAP landscapes aligned with business objectives and architecture standards. This role translates business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance SAP solutions while driving modernization initiatives such as S/4HANA migrations and adoption of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
The position provides architectural leadership across utilities-focused SAP environments, ensuring system optimization, seamless integrations, and a future-ready technology foundation that supports operational excellence and business agility.
Key Responsibilities- Own SAP solution architecture across utilities modules including IS-U, Billing, Device Management, EDM, AMI, and FI-CA.
- Define architecture standards, blueprints, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality.
- Design and modernize SAP landscapes across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Lead technical strategy for upgrades, migrations, integrations, and transformation initiatives.
- Conduct architecture assessments, roadmaps, and optimization efforts.
- Evaluate emerging SAP technologies and support proofs of concept and technology selection.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, application owners, and delivery teams to align solutions with business goals.
- Establish architecture governance, reference models, and compliance standards.
- Design and oversee integrations with enterprise platforms and third-party systems using SAP integration technologies.
- Mentor architects and engineers while promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Translate business needs into technical designs and ensure successful solution delivery.
- Perform system performance reviews and resolve complex architectural issues.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and SAP best practices.
Required Qualifications- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 10 years of SAP architecture and implementation experience.
- Deep expertise in utilities processes and SAP IS-U modules.
- Hands-on experience with S/4HANA implementations, SAP BTP, BW/4HANA, Fiori, ABAP, and cloud technologies.
- Strong experience with SAP integration platforms and core integration protocols.
- Solid understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, governance, and road mapping.
- Knowledge of SAP Basis, security, compliance controls, and performance optimization.
- Experience delivering SAP solutions in large enterprise environments.
- SAP architecture or technology certifications preferred.
Preferred Qualifications- Masters degree in a related technical or business field.
