Position Summary...The Senior Manager, Risk Management leads the development and execution of comprehensive risk and financial strategies aligned with Walmart's global business objectives. This role oversees compliance with regulatory requirements, manages risk financing and insurance budgets, and collaborates with stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential exposures. By driving continuous improvement and fostering a high-performing team environment, the position ensures operational efficiency and supports sustainable business growth. What you'll do...- Lead the development and execution of risk management and finance strategies aligned with Walmart's global business objectives.
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate potential financial risks using data-driven insights and cost-benefit analyses.
- Manage insurance policy budgets, profit and loss accounts, and statutory audits for the captive insurance entity.
- Oversee compliance and reporting to regulatory agencies, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to negotiate contracts and implement risk mitigation policies.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development opportunities to build a high-performing risk management team.
What you'll bring... - Extensive experience in risk management, including identifying, analyzing, and mitigating financial vulnerabilities and exposures.
- Proven ability to develop and execute risk financing strategies aligned with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance across local, state, federal, and international financial laws and standards.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing budgets, insurance programs, and complex contract negotiations with third-party providers.
- Effective stakeholder management skills, collaborating across business units and external partners to optimize risk control.

Bentonville, Arkansas US-30003: The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00
Sunnyvale, California US-11658: The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
