Full Job Description
Senior Manager, Research & Intelligence to lead delivery of high-quality legal, business, and competitive intelligence services for our clients. This role is responsible for overseeing research operations, managing team performance, and ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely, and actionable research outputs. The Senior Manager will also drive continuous improvement in research workflows, tools, and service delivery models, while supporting client engagements and internal strategic initiatives.

This is a remote position. Candidates must be able to work effectively in a distributed, global team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead delivery of legal, business, and competitive intelligence research across client engagements
  • Provide oversight on complex research requests and ensure high-quality, accurate outputs
  • Manage and prioritize incoming research workflows, ensuring timely completion
  • Ongoing optimization of research processes, including intake, triage, execution, and delivery
  • Monitor service performance and identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement
  • Oversee staffing, utilization, and workload allocation across research teams
  • Lead, coach, and develop research and intelligence professionals
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training programs
  • Partner with internal teams to align research services with technology, tools, and knowledge systems
  • Contribute to the development of new services, capabilities, and client solutions


Qualifications:
  • Significant experience in legal, business, or competitive intelligence research within a law firm or professional services environment
  • Proven experience managing research teams and overseeing service delivery
  • Strong knowledge of legal and business research tools (e.g., Westlaw, Lexis, Bloomberg, and other intelligence platforms)
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering under tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes and drive operational efficiency
  • Experience working in a client-facing or service delivery environment
