POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, Regional Marketing & Events leads the planning, coordination, and execution of traditional, non-digital marketing activities across UEW's regional markets. Although this is a national role, the position works at the regional and local level with Regional Directors, Outreach Benefits Advisors, Operations, and local office teams to ensure events, sponsorships, local advertising, mailers, media placements, billboards, office signage, and other market-specific initiatives are planned and executed effectively. This role brings PEAK to life through high-quality execution, strong cross-functional engagement, disciplined ownership of budgets and timelines, and informed recommendations tailored to each market.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Partner with Regional Directors, Outreach Benefits Advisors, and local office teams to develop market-specific plans that support awareness, engagement, referrals, and growth.
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of regional events across UEW markets, including resource fairs, community events, educational programs, lunch and learns, open houses, and other market-specific activities.
  • Own event logistics from planning through follow-up, including venues, food and beverage, audiovisual needs, presentations, displays, signage, promotional materials, staffing, vendor coordination, attendee experience, and post-event review.
  • Create repeatable event standards, checklists, timelines, and playbooks that help local teams execute consistently while tailoring each activity to market needs.
  • Coordinate local event champions, volunteers, vendors, and partners to extend marketing execution and allow Growth team members to stay focused on relationship-building and growth.
  • Evaluate, coordinate, and activate local sponsorship opportunities, ensuring UEW invests in the right community opportunities and fully receives the agreed-upon visibility, placement, and engagement benefits.
  • Coordinate traditional local advertising, including newspaper, television, radio, community publications, billboards, outdoor advertising, and other non-digital media in partnership with corporate Marketing.
  • Oversee the deployment of market-specific mailers, event invitations, educational materials, office signage, and community outreach collateral with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Coordinate local media opportunities and relationships that increase awareness of UEW, its services, and its commitment to energy workers and their communities.
  • Manage assigned budgets, quotes, agreements, invoices, timelines, approvals, and documentation with disciplined accountability.
  • Maintain a coordinated calendar of regional events, sponsorships, advertising deployments, mail campaigns, signage projects, and other local marketing initiatives to improve visibility, prioritization, and execution across markets.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of events and local marketing investments, capture outcomes and lessons learned, and recommend adjustments based on market response and organizational priorities.
  • Ensure local initiatives align with UEW's mission, company standards, approved messaging, and corporate Marketing direction without positioning this role as the owner of overall brand strategy.
  • Provide clear, timely updates and reporting to Marketing, Growth, and Operations stakeholders, including reporting up to the VP of Marketing, CRO, and CEO regarding plans, risks, decisions, budgets, timelines, and results.
  • Travel to UEW markets as needed to support planning, execution, vendor relationships, market reviews, and high-priority events.
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager.
