SummaryThe Senior Manager, Regional, Air & Sea Pricing Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the respective DSV pricing team within a region/sub-region, ensuring that all activities are conducted in an efficient, and cost-effective manner within the nominated Pricing Tool. This role involves analyzing market conditions, competitor pricing, and cost structures to ensure that the company's pricing remains competitive. The Pricing Manager works closely with sales, operations, product, and other key stakeholders to achieve pricing objectives and is also responsible for tool adoption, driving quote automation and process improvement within the pricing function.
Duties and Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and manage the regional pricing team, ensuring that they are effectively executing their roles and meeting performance targets.
- Managing outputs and driving KPIs for the function - monitoring spot pricing performance and adjusting strategies as needed. Ensures that the spot pricing function continuously improves in efficiency, accuracy, and responsiveness.
- Continuously monitor and analyse pricing strategies to identify opportunities for differentiation and competitive advantage.
- Analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Continuously assess and enhance pricing processes, tools, and workflows to increase efficiency, accuracy, and overall effectiveness within the pricing function.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance pricing decisions with targets, considering factors like volume discounts and negotiations.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and execute pricing strategies that align with the company's goals, market conditions, and customer expectations.
- Prepare and deliver pricing proposals to potential customers, sales teams, and existing clients.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market fluctuations, and regulatory changes that could impact pricing decisions.
- Create and develop an enjoyable working environment, promoting free thinking hard work and mile-stone delivery.
Educational background / Work experience• Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics or supply chain management is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in Freight Forwarding or logistics is required.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in estimating/pricing is required.
Skills & Competencies• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address operational issues and challenges.
• Previous experience in Air & Ocean operations leeadership is highly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of transportation and logistics processes, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in using transportation management software, such as TMS or WMS.
• Knowledge of lean principles and methodologies is a plus.
• Strong math and analytical skills is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications• Experience in Pricing Leadership in international transportation and logistics management.
Language skills• Fluency in English (oral and written).
Computer Literacy• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and experience with transportation management software.

For this position, the expected base pay is: $130,000 - $163,000 / Annual. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, geographic location and other objective business considerations.
