Location: USA - North Charleston, Leeds Ave Division: Air & Sea Job Posting Title: Programme Director, Commodities - 123519 Time Type: Full Time Programme Director, Commodities Business Development, Air & Sea US The Programme Director will promote Ocean FCL business development. Duties and Responsibilities • To promote Ocean FCL business development • Specifically in Commodities items of Ocean FCL Product • According to targets set by the Company in volume/TEUs & Gross Profit • Via own account development and through country/network Sales. Liaison with : • Sales Teams - to assist them in customer coverage and country Pipeline • Operations - in-country, to ensure full SOP/smooth handling of shipments • Procurement - in-country & Regional, to ensure a relevant mix of equipment, space & rate is available • To maintain clear reporting of monthly activities & accomplishments with the Global Head of Commodities and network colleagues • To lead & maintain a national Pipeline of Commodities accounts sufficient for Budget • To become familiar with the Company's ISC solutions as another Sales channel • To find suitable Commodities Exhibitions and Shows for attendance & client promotion. • To assist network offices to have a sellable Commodities customer product to reach scale. Educational background / Work experience • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. • Minimum of 7 years of experience in transportation and logistics management in a related industry. Skills & Competencies • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams. • Knowledge of transportation and logistics industry trends, best practices, and regulations. • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions to complex problems. Language skills • Fluent in English (oral and written) Computer Literacy • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
