Purpose
Reporting to the Director, Initiatives & Optimization, the Senior Manager, Project Management & Change Readiness is responsible for leading the planning, governance, execution, and operational readiness activities for strategic initiatives impacting Operations and Client Service teams. The incumbent ensures initiatives are delivered successfully by aligning project execution, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, readiness assessments, and implementation planning to support adoption while minimizing operational risk and business disruption.

The role serves as a key liaison between Business, Operations, Technology, Product, Risk, Training, and Change stakeholders to ensure people, process, technology, and service impacts are identified, managed, and communicated throughout the project lifecycle.

What You'll Do
  • Lead strategic initiatives from planning through implementation and stabilization.
  • Drive change readiness through impact assessments, communications, adoption strategies, and partner with training teams
    Establish governance and oversee project risks, issues, dependencies, and executive reporting.
  • Partner with business, operations, technology, and risk teams to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Ensure operational readiness, communication, controls, documentation, and support
    models are in place prior to implementation.
  • Monitor outcomes and drive continuous improvement across project delivery and change management practices.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team while fostering collaboration and accountability.


What You'll Bring:
  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Operations, Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Graduate degree and/or MBA is considered an asset.
    PMP, PRINCE2, Prosci, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent certification is considered an asset.
  • 7-10+ years of progressive experience in project management, program management, business transformation, operational readiness, change management, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of project governance, change management, operational readiness, process improvement, and risk management practices.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across business and technology teams.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, facilitation, and executive reporting skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience within banking, financial services, client operations, or technology delivery environments preferred.
