Job DescriptionYou will be the Senior Manager, Production Planning and Control for the Production Planning and Control (PP&C) team. Our team is responsible for overseeing end to end production planning, inventory accuracy, material flow, and logistics coordination across multiple programs.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Senior Manager, Production Planning and Control you will be responsible for leading a high performing team that drives efficient material movement, accurate inventory, and on time production across the Ocala facility.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and develop a diverse team of exempt, non exempt, and represented employees.
- Direct receiving, warehousing, and inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Manage MRP, scheduling, and production support processes.
- Oversee shipping, traffic, and vendor managed inventory operations.
- Drive metrics, audits, and continuous improvement programs to meet MMAS requirements.

Basic Qualifications• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college
• Strong leadership experience with demonstrated performance driving continuous improvement with MRP/ERP background in an SAP environment
• Fundamental understanding of all aspects of Production Planning and Control including Master Production Scheduling, Demand and Supply control and optimization, Material Flow controls and management
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with Program Management, Prod Ops, Quality, Global Supply Chain and Engineering and Technology teams to ensure all customer requirements are achieved within the appropriate business controls
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Must be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance
• Green Belt Trained/Certified
Desired skills• Master's Degree in Operations Management or related discipline
• Black Belt trained / certified
• APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification
• Knowledge of industry wide best practices and processes for managing material flow throughout the entire production supply chain
• Experience leading diverse multi-functional teams
• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) extensive user experience and/or implementation
• SAP experience related to Production Operations
• Control Account Manager (CAM) certified
• Experience in implementing process efficiencies using Digital Transformation technology
• Experience with Delmia Apriso Manufacturing Execution and Warehouse Management
Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $124,900 - $220,225. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
