Job DescriptionThe Senior Manager, Procurement is the leader in the center of excellence responsible for building, implementing, and communicating best procurement practices and tools to drive excellence for Cornerstone Building Brands. This role will be responsible for the development, deployment and maintenance of supplier risk program, supplier relationship management processes and driving procurement governance, policies, processes, and tools. This manager is a key enabler who actively works with stakeholder groups to enable effective & efficient use of the Strategic Sourcing Department's procedures and operational tools. The incumbent will educate, train, influence, and drive consistent adoption of best practices across all operating teams. This position will serve to support the successful execution of business strategies while meeting or exceeding the procurement organizational performance goals.
- Leads implementation of robust supplier risk management processes and tools to proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risk. Improve CBB supply chain resilience through designing and leading initiatives to mitigate identified risks within the CBB supply base.
- Leads development of formal supplier relationship management program (evaluation guidelines, selection, evaluation, risk assessment, quality, ongoing performance and offboarding).
- Leads the design, implementation, deployment and maintenance of procurement processes & supporting tools to ensure efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability of best practice category management, strategic sourcing, SRM, and operational procurement processes. Develops metrics to measure procurement effectiveness.
- Develops strategic plan for procurement technology adoptions, enhancements and/or developments (e.g. spend analytics, eProcurement, etc.)
- Manages the authoring of necessary policies, procedures, SOP s, work guidelines for procurement activities; develops and executes training for procurement and operations teams.
- Develops and implements plan to standardize and consolidate existing procurement practices, policies and compliance reporting and implement best practices where required
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering or equivalent. MBA preferred
- 10+ years supply chain, procurement or related experience
- Experience in leading procurement process and tool implementation
- Ability to lead through influence - Leveraging professional expertise and relationships to contribute to strategy and drive business results. Leads the development of functional strategy.
- Proven track record of delivering tangible results in a matrix organization
- Proficient knowledge of procurement best practices and support systems
- Superior communication and influencing skills, with collaboration mindset
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
- Requires expertise in operating Microsoft Office programs.
- Certifications preferred but not required: CPSM, PMP
- Travel 15%-20%
Additional InformationThe US base salary range for this full-time position is
$130000-$150000+
bonus+ medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
