Full Job Description
Responsibilities

The Senior Manager in Pricing and Valuation primary responsibilities will be to work as part of Oaktree's pricing team in determining the values used for public securities and over-the-counter derivatives across Oaktree's portfolios.
  • Monitor, review and validate valuations to ensure they are done accurately and in timely manner. Assist in responding to inquiries from fund administrators striking a daily net asset valuation (NAV)
  • Assist in the creation of controls and processes that will help identify and resolve issues as well as increase efficiency
  • Work with others to help ensure that pricing levels meet legal and regulatory requirements
  • Assist in generating regular reports that are used in the monitoring of the pricing process


Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5+ years of pricing experience with an investment manager or another financial advisory firm
  • A strong ability to efficiently handle multiple demands and priorities under tight deadlines
  • Experience with the demands of daily NAV strikes for 40 Act and UCITS funds as well as Board reporting
  • Experience in using vendors (i.e., Bloomberg and S&P Global) to perform modeling of derivative products (i.e., IRS and CDS)
  • Proven Excel skills
  • Knowledge of programming languages (i.e., SQL) a plus

Education

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance or Economics or CFA

Base Salary

$120,000 - $145,000
