Reports To: Chief People Operations Officer

Job Type: Full-time; On-site

Job Summary

The Senior Manager - People Operations is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and initiatives that align with the company's objectives and foster a positive work environment. Reporting to the Chief People Officer (CPO), this role leads a team of HR professionals, collaborates across departments, and ensures effective HR support throughout the organization. The position plays a crucial role in shaping company culture, driving employee engagement, and supporting business goals through strategic HR management.

Essential Job Functions
  • Lead and mentor the HR team, providing guidance and direction
  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Promote company's Guiding Principles and Core Values
  • Guide leaders on HR policies, programs, and best practices
  • Oversee recruitment, benefits administration, and HRIS management
  • Coordinate management and leadership training initiatives
  • Mediate employee relations issues and ensure policy compliance
  • Analyze HR metrics and KPIs to evaluate and improve HR initiatives
  • Oversee compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with legal counsel on HR policy development
  • Manage relationships with external HR service providers
  • Present HR initiatives and reports to all levels of the organization
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in leadership roles
  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred

Work Environment

This position is primarily office-based but requires travel (approximately 20%) to various company locations. The role involves frequent interaction with employees at all levels, from entry-level staff to executive leadership. The Senior Manager of HR must be comfortable handling sensitive information with discretion and adapting to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Some flexibility in working hours may be necessary to address urgent HR matters or support company-wide initiatives.
