Full Job Description
The Team or Role

Tinder is investing in bringing people together beyond the screen. Our Tinder Events initiative creates curated, in-person experiences that give people new ways to connect - and we're looking for someone to help us scale it.

The Senior Manager, Partnerships & Operations will lead the local partnerships function within Tinder's Events team. You'll be responsible for sourcing, curating, and securing events with local venues, event creators, and third-party event platforms. You'll also own the operational side - building the processes, workflows, and cross-functional coordination needed to execute events and scale the program from a single-city pilot to a global footprint.

This is a builder's role. You'll be standing up a new function, defining how it operates, and serve as a strategic thought partner to Tinder leadership as the program grows. You'll report to the VP of Business Development, support in sourcing larger partnership opportunities, as well as work closely with cross-functional partners across our marketing, legal, product, engineering, and design teams.

Where you'll work:

This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration three times per week in Los Angeles, CA, and requires approximately 25% travel to support new market launches, meetings, and on-the-ground execution for select events and partners.

In this role, you will:

  • Build Tinder's local partnerships pipeline - developing the strategy, playbook, and workflows for identifying, vetting, and securing venue partners, local event creators, and partnering with third-party event platforms
  • >
  • Oversee the curation and quality of locally programmed events, ensuring brand alignment and a consistent attendee experience across partners
  • >
  • Design and refine scalable operational processes - from partner onboarding and event QA to post-event reporting - that can be replicated as we expand to new cities
  • >
  • Manage the local events and partnerships budget, owning spend allocation across markets and partner types and ensuring programming scales efficiently
  • >
  • Surface insights and learnings from local market activity including partner performance, attendee feedback, and operational data to help shape and evolve the broader Events program strategy
  • >
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to Tinder leadership, contributing to program strategy, market expansion planning, and new partnership models
  • >
  • Coordinate with the VP, Business Development to ensure local and national programming complement each other
  • >
  • Report on partner pipeline health, event volume, team performance, and operational efficiency to Tinder leadership
  • >

You'll need:

  • 6+ years of experience in partnerships, operations, or business development
  • >
  • Proven track record of building and scaling partner or vendor networks from the ground up
  • >
  • Experience hiring, managing, and developing teams - you know how to set a high bar and bring people along
  • >
  • Strong operational instincts - you naturally build repeatable systems rather than one-off solutions
  • >
  • Entrepreneurial mindset - you're energized by ambiguity, resourceful when things aren't figured out yet, and biased toward action
  • >
  • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to balance partner needs and business priorities
  • >
  • Data-informed approach to decision-making - comfortable working with KPIs and dashboards to evaluate performance
  • >
  • Clear, structured communication skills - you can translate what's happening on the ground into actionable insights for leadership
  • >

Nice to have:

  • Experience in the events, entertainment, nightlife, or social/dating industry
  • >
  • Familiarity with event marketplace platforms from a partnership or operations perspective
  • >
  • Experience scaling a program or operation across multiple markets or cities
  • >
  • Background working with Gen Z consumer audiences or community-driven brands
  • >

As a full-time employee, you'll enjoy:

  • Flexible Vacation, 10 Sick Days
  • Time off to volunteer and charitable donations matched up to $15,000 annually
  • Comprehensive health, vision, and dental coverage
  • 100% 401(k) employer match up to 10%, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
  • 100% paid parental leave (including for non-birthing parents) and family forming benefits
  • Investment in your development: mentorship through our MentorMatch program, access to 6,000+ online courses through Udemy, and an annual $3,000 stipend for your professional development
  • Investment in your wellness: access to mental health support via Modern Health, paid concierge medical membership, pet insurance, fitness membership subsidy, and commuter subsidy
  • Free subscription to Tinder Gold
