Full Job Description
We are currently seeking a Senior Manager of Operations. This role serves as an operational leader responsible for overseeing processes, safety, and technical systems across New Castle Metal.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Management
  • Manage all machinery & equipment uptime, upkeep, & PM schedules (NewTech Machinery, Cidan, Trumpf, Rollformer, Cincinnati).
  • Act as the primary lead with equipment vendor relationships, and problem/conflict resolution.
  • Active role in equipment procurement and divestments.
  • System owner of MaintainX (Asset Management software).
Standard Operating Procedures & Quality Management
  • Create, implement, and conduct training on SOP's covering: receiving, customer pickups, customer deliveries, transfers, returns, and cycle counts.
  • Maintain Quality Management across the company for all finished fabricated products.
  • Ensure quality assurance is adhered to, and corrective actions are implemented as necessary.
  • Perform Audits and record keeping of fabrication performance.
  • Oversight of the production planning process and put forth solutions for bottlenecks.
  • Support inventory management: purchasing, levels, overstock, write-offs.
Employee Relations & Management
  • Manage employee relations matters as they arise within the operational teams.
  • Active participation in recruiting/onboarding, coaching/mentoring, and offboarding for all operational and production employees.

Safety Leadership
  • Lead safety across the operation and minimize OSHA recordable metrics.
  • Perform incident investigation root cause analysis and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Prepare and provide weekly safety training for internal release.
  • Participate in Captive insurance risk control workshops.
  • Spearhead 5-S and Lean initiatives to optimize facility cleanliness and organization.
