Location: The Senior Manager of Regional Supply Chain Planning is a hybrid position located in Allentown, PA or Chandler, AZ with 15% travel required to meet business needs.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Sr. Manager of Regional Supply Chain Planning to lead planning and fulfillment execution and capability development across our North American/EU operations while partnering closely with global manufacturing, engineering, procurement, and commercial teams.

The successful candidate will drive planning excellence, lead and develop a high-performing planning team within a complex make-to-order manufacturing environment, including intercompany planning across a global supply network, by bringing deep expertise in supply planning, production planning, SAP planning systems and inventory management.

This individual will play a key role in supporting the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by providing supply planning insights, capacity assessments, and scenario analysis that enable informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Planning, Network Coordination & S&OP Support

Lead supply planning activities across North American/EU operations, balancing customer demand, material availability, production capacity, inventory and business priorities.

Support the monthly S&OP process through development of supply plans, capacity assessments, inventory projections, and scenario analysis.

Identify supply risks, constraints and mitigation plans related to capacity and intercompany material flows. Drive inventory balancing and deployment decisions across the network to optimize service, working capital and material availability.

Partner with Sales, Operations, Procurement, Engineering and Finance to ensure alignment between business objectives and supply capabilities.

Planning Systems & Process Excellence

Establish performance management routines. Monitor planning outputs, identify root causes of planning issues, and drive continuous improvement of planning parameters, master data, and planning processes.

Drive resolution of material shortages, capacity constraints, and planning exceptions while ensuring timely execution of supply plans and customer commitments.

Serve as a subject matter expert for SAP planning processes, including MRP, APO SNP, and PP/DS. Support regional planning system user adoption, and process standardization initiatives, in partnership with global counterparts.

Team Leadership & Capability Development

Lead, coach, and develop a team of planners/schedulers/fulfillment specialists.

Establish planning standards, best practices, and performance expectations.

Develop planning capabilities through training, mentoring, and continuous improvement initiatives, while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and data-driven decision making.

Continuous Improvement

Drive improvements in planning performance, process discipline, and operational execution.

Support implementation and monitor planning KPIs including service performance, schedule adherence, inventory health, and planning exception trends.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, business, or related field.
  • 6+ years of supply chain planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing planning teams.
  • Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing and intercompany supply networks.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP planning solutions, MRP, APO SNP & PPDS

Preferred Qualifications
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
  • Experience supporting SAP APO implementation, stabilization, or planning transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working with global manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain organizations.
  • Experience in make-to-order (MTO), engineer-to-order (ETO), or highly configurable manufacturing environments.

Planning & Systems Expertise
  • Strong understanding of supply planning, production planning, capacity planning, and material planning processes.
  • Understanding of planning master data, planning parameters, and exception management.
  • Experience supporting planning process improvements and system adoption initiatives.

Leadership & Communication
  • Proven ability to coach and develop planning professionals.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive accountability.

Success Measures
  • Improved supply plan attainment and on time-delivery.
  • Increased planning capability and process adherence.
  • Improved intercompany planning performance and inventory health.

Pay Range for this position: $125,000 - $187,300

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
