Senior Manager of Employment Services

Department:

Status: Full-time / Part-Time

Your Role
This Senior Manager of Employment Services is responsible for the leadership, oversight, and daily operations of Employment Services across Illinois and Indiana. This role splits time between Illinois and Indiana to ensure a consistent, person centered, community based, high-quality service delivery.

Responsibilities
• Provides direct supervision, coaching, and development to Employment Services staff to enhance program performance and community partnerships, while promoting a person-centered environment.
• Promotes a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure services are delivered, documentation, and billing are in accordance with the Illinois Community Rehabilitation Program (CRP) Manual and the Indiana Vocational Rehabilitation Manual.
• Track and analyze program data, including placements, retention outcomes, service utilization, and contract performance.
• Accountability for achieving employment outcomes, contract performance expectations, and budgetary goals.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with funding and referral sources, local DRS and VR offices, school districts, job training and volunteer sites, as well as local businesses.
• Creates and develops innovative ideas and practices that will enhance the quality of services; Maintain awareness of new initiatives in the field.
• Carries a caseload as needed.
• Advocates for consumers wants and needs and helps them advocate for themselves, as requested.
• Protects the rights of consumers by understanding their rights, educating them on their rights, and ensuring their rights are not violated.
• Communicates well with consumers, using their preferred form of communication, to determine their likes, interests, strengths, wants, and needs.
• Treats consumers with dignity and respect, while providing them with the support needed to become as independent as possible.
• Follows and implements all agency Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services related field, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor preferred.

Pay Range: $53,000 - $57,000 per hour
