Full Job Description
The Senior Manager of Development is a leadership role responsible for driving the execution of new restaurant development from Letter of Intent (LOI) through opening. Serving as the primary development liaison between real estate, design, construction, and landlord consultants. This role drives early project due diligence, entitlement strategy, maintains project schedule, drives landlord obligations and site development, helps identify risks that could impact schedule or cost for an assigned portfolio of projects.

How You'll Succeed:
  • Lead the full development lifecycle for an assigned portfolio of projects, from LOI through operational turnover and close-out.
  • Drive project schedules, and cross-functional coordination across Real Estate, Design, Construction, landlords, consultants, and external partners identifying risks, gaps, and interdependencies.
  • Facilitate project kickoff meetings with Design and Construction, Ensuring the Design and Construction teams have requirements met to start work, evaluating site-specific conditions, atypical requirements, and potential cost or schedule impacts.
  • Acts as the department's point person on projects where there is a long delay between lease signature & site delivery to keep team current on Landlord/Seller's progress.
  • Manage site due diligence and feasibility, including test fits, schematic design, surveys, environmental reports, closings, and site-specific requirements.
  • Represent Cooper's Hawk in introductory and ongoing meetings with municipal agencies; maintain and deploy standardized presentation materials across concepts.
  • Track and manage landlord entitlement processes through site delivery. Coordinate landlord work, pad/site delivery requirements, utility responsibilities, and other lease/work-letter obligations.
  • Monitor and communicate portfolio status, including key milestones, risks, dependencies, and critical issues to Development leadership.

Physical Job Functions:

Compensation Range: $103,000 - $125,000. The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity.
