Full Job Description
D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Senior Manager of Change Management. The right candidate will provide operational leadership by overseeing a portfolio of organizational change initiatives supporting marketing technology, digital products, business process improvements, and enterprise transformation efforts. This position manages departmental resources and staff, establishes operational priorities, and ensures the consistent application of change management methodologies across multiple initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a portfolio of organizational change initiatives supporting marketing technology, digital transformation, and enterprise business projects
  • Supervise and develop Change Management Managers by providing coaching, performance feedback, professional development opportunities, and guidance on organizational change management practices
  • Allocate departmental resources across multiple initiatives by balancing workloads, assigning priorities, and adjusting staffing to meet business needs and project timelines
  • Establish and maintain departmental standards, methodologies, governance processes, templates, and quality expectations to ensure consistent delivery of change management services
  • Partner with executive leadership and other business leaders to align change management strategies with organizational priorities
  • Monitor project portfolios, organizational readiness, adoption metrics, and departmental performance indicators to evaluate outcomes, identify risks, and implement corrective actions when appropriate
  • Review and approve change management strategies, stakeholder engagement plans, communication approaches, training plans, and readiness activities developed by managers and their teams to ensure quality and consistency
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing work environment that encourages continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, employee engagement, and professional growth
  • Lead departmental initiatives that enhance organizational change management capabilities, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen partnerships across the organization
  • Represent the Change Management function on cross-functional committees, governance groups, leadership meetings, and special projects as assigned
  • Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
  • Ability to travel overnight


Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Supervises 2 or more employees


Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Communications, Human Resources, Information Technology, Marketing, Project Management, or a related field
  • Eight (8) to ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in organizational change management, organizational development, project management, business transformation, or a related discipline
  • Three (3) or more years of experience leading people, including responsibility for hiring, coaching, performance management, and employee development
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent organizational change initiatives supporting enterprise technology implementations or digital transformation programs
  • Experience developing departmental processes, governance standards, resource plans, and operational metrics
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form or via DRH applications
  • Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision
  • The noise level is generally moderate


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting MarTech platforms, CRM, CMS, Digital Asset Management (DAM), Customer Data Platforms (CDP), marketing automation, analytics platforms, or other enterprise technology solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to lead managers, develop high-performing teams, and promote accountability through coaching, performance management, and employee development
