Day-to-Day:
The Senior Manager of Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) leads the strategic planning, implementation, and oversight of the CDI program at Advent Health. This role focuses on enhancing the quality and completeness of clinical documentation to ensure accurate coding, patient safety, measurable outcomes, and proper reimbursement. Collaborating with senior leaders, campus administration, and physicians, and stays informed on documentation changes related to ICD-10. A commitment to excellent customer service and respectful relationships is essential.
Leading a team of 4-5 managers over 50 people
Biweekly syncs with team
Presenting to C-level on CDI data findings
Standardize CDI practices across the organization using industry best practices.
Develop and maintain policies and guidelines for consistent documentation improvement.
Build strong partnerships with Advent Health Medical Staff.
Lead clinical/product line committees to identify and address documentation improvement opportunities.
