The VCA team is looking for a
Sr. Manager to join our Money Movement and Stablecoin consulting practice and play a role in developing high impact projects for Visa's clients in the NA region. This role is responsible for the helping clients with their strategy, operating model design, and technical considerations as they launch new products, new services, new geographies and address emerging payments needs. It encompasses market research, use case identification, opportunity sizing, GTM strategy, solution development and optimization within and outside of card rails. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker that seeks to innovative everything they touch, carries a disruptor mindset, and can articulate/create impactful presentations. This role works together with our Commercial and Money Movement Solutions (CMS) team, Stablecoin and Crypto Partnerships and Growth Teams, Product Experience Design (PxD) team, Stabelcoin Product team and Visa Marketing Services team to collaborate and solve all our client money movement needs not associated with traditional card processing.
Potential engagements could include creating strategy for new line of business, Stablecoin market entry/expansion, product strategy, use case exploration & prioritization, business case development, customer segmentation & targeting, GTM strategy, capabilities assessment, payment modernization, money movement strategy etc. Specific responsibilities include:
• Proactively engage with Visa internal teams in regular strategic & planning discussions
• Leads consulting initiatives and contributes to closing engagements by identifying potential opportunities with Banks, Processors, Merchants, FinTechs.
• Manage day to day of ongoing engagements with clients, ensuring high-quality on-time and under-budget delivery while managing and appropriately escalating potential project risks.
• Develop frameworks, approaches, solutions and recommendations that effectively and efficiently address the most impactful opportunities and challenges facing our clients.
• Build solutions and actionable insights that will help clients to grow their portfolios and customer engagement in their core business
• Partner with peers in other functional areas (product, marketing, sales, risk, innovation) and across global regional teams to execute projects in ways that leverage the breadth and depth of Visa's resources
• Produce insights, analysis and recommendations to improve client performance, boost growth, drive understanding of client issues and provide strategic guidance for client priorities across the verticals and segments
• Ability to effectively manipulate and analyze large data sets (industry and Visa) to determine meanings insights and recommendations for clients
• Lead the mapping of key as-is and to-be processes and money flows across multiple parties or stakeholders including issuers, enablers/processors, sponsor banks, merchants, and consumers
• Build new scalable solutions, toolkits, best practice documents and consulting approach that can be applied across VCA practice.
• Manage a pipeline for the deliverables and provide accurate forecasting and end-to-end sales support to delivery
• Stay up to date with emerging payments and create thought leadership
Candidate will have proven experience in management consulting and experience and a strong working knowledge of non-card money movement and/or emerging fintech mechanics for payments and remittance.
Incumbents applying for the role should be self-motivated, highly energized, detail-oriented individuals who will deliver strategic thought leadership, problem diagnostics and high impact solutions to clients support the growth and performance. Candidates must be able to develop enduring, strategic relationships with internal and external clients and across the Visa organization.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
- Relevant experience at large management consulting firm or US Financial Institution
- Payments/Financial Services experience
- Money Movement and Digital Assets experience
- Strong Analytical/Quantitative Background
- Experience working with financial indicators to measure business performance. Significant focus on impacting ROI
- Self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently
- Knowledge and understanding of banking operations and/ or payment schemes, including products & services, business systems and processes, marketing initiatives and card issuing experience
- Excellent communication, storytelling and presentation skills

Information for US ApplicantsFor roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $130,600 to $221,600 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
