Schedule: Full-time

Shift: Nights, 7:00 pm - 7:00 am (with weekend rotation) 3 one week, 4 the second week

Location: 601 E Rollins St, Orlando, FL 32803
  • Collaborates with acute care leadership to identify and implement process improvement strategies to reduce patient length of stay.
  • Develops quality and performance criteria and metrics for departmental and organizational initiatives.
  • Provides leadership and facilitates patient flow across acute care services.
  • Coordinates and redeploys staff to achieve appropriate skill mix based on patient safety, departmental coverage needs, and associated risks.
  • Leads, recruits, motivates, mentors, and evaluates employees, fostering an open and professional communication environment.
  • Reviews and disseminates Command Center performance and strategic goals, preparing reports to inform management and administrative teams.
  • Facilitates and escalates clinical activities to complete patient flow efficiently.
  • Expedites, prioritizes, synchronizes, and mediates clinical issues and barriers.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory and professional standards affecting operations.
  • Engages with employees to ensure productivity standards are met and understood, maintaining appropriate staffing levels.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:
  • Bachelor's of Nursing [Required]
  • Master's [Preferred]

Field of Study:
  • in Business, Healthcare or related degree

Work Experience:
  • 3+ experience in leadership roles in a comparable health care entity [Required]
  • 5+ years' experience in nursing [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
