Position Summary...

What you'll do...
Strategic Planning and Business Design:
Designs the business unit strategy in alignment with Walmart's global objectives and value proposition.
Develops and implements business plans to drive growth, productivity, quality, and service excellence across manufacturing operations.
Establishes business intelligence frameworks to monitor Optical Lab trends, enabling proactive decision-making.
Implements operational improvements by developing and executing strategic business plans for operations and production, forecasting staffing
needs, and monitoring facility performance against the needs of the business.
Manages financial aspects in operations and production by preparing budgets. Monitors and tracks expenses compared to budget. Reviews and
approves purchases. Monitors the management of assets and utilization strategies. Prepares, reviews, and/or analyzes business reports.

Operational Excellence and Compliance:
Ensures manufacturing processes meet safety, efficiency, and quality standards, particularly within Optical Lab processing operations.
Monitors and ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and directives by developing, distributing, and/or maintaining procedures and
supporting documentation. Resolves internal/external customer and associate concerns. Oversees state-specific and federal regulatory procedures
(for example, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), hazardous waste management).

Inventory and Merchandise Flow Management:
Designs inventory management guidelines to ensure order fulfilment while minimizing shrinkage and costs.
Manages merchandise flow strategies to optimize Optical Lab space utilization.
Ensures product integrity during store delivery to avoid markdowns.

Market and Retail Strategy Execution:
Advises Procurement on sourcing needs to meet market demand.
Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs, developing and communicating
business plans and priorities, removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance, providing resources, identifying performance standards, measuring
progress, adjusting performance accordingly, developing contingency plans, demonstrating adaptability, and supporting continuous learning.
Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to
others in their use and application, ensuring compliance, and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy.
Ensures business needs are met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives. Consults with business partners,
managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders. Solicits, evaluates, and applies suggestions for improving efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Participates in and supports community outreach events.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training, mentoring, assigning duties, and building a team-based
work environment. Establishes performance expectations and conducts regular pperformance evaluations. Provides recognition and rewards. Coaches
for success and improvement. Promotes a belonging mindset in the workplace.
