Full Job Description
What you'll do in this role:

The primary purpose of this role is to drive Manufacturing Excellence across all the Integer Manufacturing Facilities by designing and implementing sustainable systems that enable full engagement resulting in world-class operational performance in safety, quality, delivery, lead-time, and cost. Responsibilities include deploying the Integer Production System, leading the creation of site visions and strategic plans, facilitating workshops, coaching site leaders (especially Continuous Improvement Managers), promoting a lean culture in all sites, and managing/developing direct reports.

Adhere to Integer's Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.

Deploy Integer Production System
  • Develop and evolve the elements on the Integer Production System
  • Coach sites in the implementation of the elements
  • Provide training to the sites on concepts and keys for success


Lead Strategic Planning
  • Lead the site Plant Leadership Teams through the annual Hoshin Planning process to gain alignment on site breakthrough opportunities
  • Lead in creation and deployment of the site transformation plan to achieve world class operational performance
  • Facilitate Lean Diagnosis Workshops to create strategic improvement plans for each value stream
  • Act as the catalyst of strategic thinking by challenging site paradigms


Facilitate Workshops
  • Develop workshop profiles and facilitate cross-functional events resulting in improvement plans towards the achievement of the stated goals.
  • Mentor teams through the implementation phase to ensure sustainable success


Coach Site Leaders
  • Help site leaders identify and focus on strategic improvement and avoid being consumed by fire-fighting
  • Teach the lean concepts behind the implemented systems so that as the inputs evolve, the systems can be adjusted appropriately.
  • Teach the importance behind Gemba management and problem solving on the floor
  • Teach leadership keys to success to drive sustainment improvement


Promote Lean Culture
  • Promote Lean thinking through training, mentoring, and coaching at all levels of the organization (operators, supervisors, ops managers, and support functions), including soft skills - hearts and minds.
  • Promote engagement through implementing/sustaining the Improvement Idea System where associates have a way to submit ideas and hear feedback in a quick, effective way.
  • Ensure associates ideas and knowledge are built into solutions by involving them in workshops
  • Teach the importance of site managers being visible on the floor
  • Celebrate wins and recognize associates/teams for their contributions
  • Encourage and facilitate sites to share best practices


Mentor and Manage Direct Reports
  • For all direct reports, provide:
    • Clear expectations on assigned projects
    • Coaching and guidance for successful implementation of projects
    • Individual development plans to aid their advancement


How you will be measured:
  • Live the Integer Values through leading by example.
  • Assist the sites in achieving its annual goals for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory.
  • Increase level of engagement by mentoring and coaching others to be Lean change agents across the site.
  • Achieve all Goals and Objectives assigned
  • Enable and track the accumulation of incremental savings opportunities.
  • Travel requirements vary from 25%-75% based on candidate location.

Minimum Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is preferred


Minimum Experience:
  • 10 years industrial experience in driving continuous improvement
  • Plant Continuous Improvement Manager experience preferred

Salary Range: Min 134,250 Max 196,900

Our total rewards program is designed to attract, retain, and motivate associates to contribute to Integer's success. Our compensation program includes base salary and a cash-based incentive program supporting our pay-for-performance philosophy. We provide a comprehensive benefits package with immediate eligibility including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and adoption benefits. Parental leave is available after one year. Optional employee-paid programs include supplemental life insurance, critical illness, hospital indemnity and accident insurance. Employees are immediately eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan with company matching contributions. We provide 80 hours (10 days) of company designated holidays per year plus an annual allotment of paid time off.
