In this role you will act as the Supply Chain IPT Member for the LAVS 3.0 development program, located in Everett Washington. You will be charged with leading a team of supply professionals, both directly and indirectly, in working as part of a cross-functional team with Program, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Materials, and Finance to ensure the team meets all cost, quality, and schedule deliverables.
What You Will Do:
- Lead a team of primarily intermediate or experienced supply chain professionals.
- Manage the execution of processes, standards, and plans in support of program strategies.
- Review and assess requests for proposals, negotiate prices and authorize purchase orders.
- Ensure the uninterrupted supply of all materials to support program quality and schedule requirements through supplier relationship management.
- Forecast and mitigate risk around continuity of supply due to capacity or sub-tier supplier challenges.
- Drive improvements in customer satisfaction, by deploying supply chain best practices and managing key performance metrics.
- Establish and implement continuous process improvement by obtaining direct supplier and customer feedback on the standards of service delivered by the team.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with key internal and external customers and suppliers to ensure that supply chain targets are achieved.
- Recruit, motivate, develop, and retain an appropriately skilled supply chain team.
- Set objectives and guide team on approach for achievement of operational results.
- Explain & develop policies, practices, and procedures, including outside of your direct scope.
- Problems faced are typically complex and involve consideration of multiple variables.
Qualifications We Must Have:
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
- Supply Chain experience
- Proven leadership experience
- Experience working in aerospace manufacturing or other complex manufacturing environments

- Project management skills
- SAP knowledge and demonstrated usage
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge
- Process Improvement experience
- Executive presentation experience and strong communication skills

The salary range for this role is 145,600 USD - 276,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
