THE WORK

The Senior Manager position provides planning and scheduling leadership to one of the four Lines of Business within the Rotary and Missions Systems (RMS) business area.

The selected candidate will lead the functional integrated program planning team to provide qualitative and quantitative data analysis for program management leadership, ensuring compliance with Earned Value Management (EVM) business systems and identifying opportunities for process improvements.

The role requires collaboration with other functional disciplines, such as engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain management, to ensure integrated planning and scheduling.

This role will report to the RMS Integrated Program Planning Director and will be based in Stratford, CT. This position will be a hybrid position with a minimum of 3 days/week on site. Occasional travel may be required.

WHO YOU ARE

A successful candidate should be considered a "Subject Matter Expert" in Planning and Scheduling within the Defense Industry and have experience in all phases of the DOD program lifecycle (Prototyping, Development, Manufacturing, Sustainment) and Schedule life cycle (RFI responses, Proposals, Baseline, Execution, Closeout).

Basic Qualifications
• Subject Matter Expert in Planning and Scheduling within the aerospace and defense industry, with at least 12 years of relevant experience
• Ability to perform and review the teams' Critical Path analysis on schedule networks and conduct and evaluate schedule risk assessments (SRAs)
• Proven leadership experience, with at least 5 years of direct people management responsibilities; experience in leadership of leaders role and development of talent within teams
• Experience implementing EVM business systems and compliance, with advanced skills in integrated cost/schedule data analysis
• Experience leading capture/proposal management processes, including subcontractor schedule requirements and risk assessment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience developing and delivering executive-level presentations and negotiating with external customers and stakeholders
• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration
• Ability to work onsite in Stratford, Connecticut

• Demonstrated ability to lead change management initiatives, including process improvements and organizational restructuring
• Track record of accelerating talent development and organizational capability through recruiting, coaching, mentoring, and training
• Experience navigating complex and dynamic environments, with adaptability to unique customer or cultural requirements
• Advanced user of program performance management tools, including Open Plan and Acumen, with experience integrating multiple projects into master schedules
• Demonstrated proficiency in risk management methodologies, including risk identification, assessment, and mitigation
• Experience managing multiple programs and employees across multiple locations, including teams working in hybrid and remote environments
• Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge, experience, and creativity to solve new problems and improve processes.

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $131,500 - $231,840. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
