RoleWe are looking for a Senior Manager, Information Security Engineering to join our team. This is a Remote role, reporting to the Senior Architect, Information Security Engineering in the Enterprise Security department. Driven by continued growth within our Enterprise Security organization, this pivotal leadership role will guide substantial emerging technology investments over the next few years across key domains including Insider Risk, Data Protection/DLP, AI Security, and Federal Security.
What you'll do (Role Expectations)- Drive maturity across Insider Risk, Data Protection/DLP, AI Security, and Federal Security
- Lead a high-performing team of analysts and engineers
- Drive a strategy for future programs and security investments
- Work cross functionally with other teams across security and Zscaler
- Develop threat scenarios and associated risks

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)- Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain
- 8+ years of experience, including 3+ years of management experience
- Experience running functional programs and developing and configuring security controls
- Familiarity with security frameworks, including NIST, Fedramp, and CMMC
- U.S. citizenship due to the nature of the customers assigned to this role
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)- Hands-on technical experience with Zscaler tools related to Insider Risk, Data Protection/DLP, AI Security, and Federal Security
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions from a security perspective
- Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, with a proven history of integrating new technologies to enhance daily workflows and augment problem-solving

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
Base Pay Range
$188,000-$235,000 USD
