Job Description:

You will be an essential part of the growing Industrial Engineering team. This role will be based in Aurora, IL and support primary operations for all US Factor brand distribution facilities. You will be the subject matter expert on the processes within Factor operations, working cross-functionally to assist with process launches, initiate improvements and work towards standardization.

  • Manage a team of Industrial Engineers in the day to day performance of their job. The team will be spread out across the US.
  • Manage the development and maintenance of predetermined motion time studies, standard work and facility layouts for all Factor operations within the US.
  • Work with team to develop presentations and present to senior leadership.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross functional teams in order to foster a collaborative working environment and remove barriers for the team.
  • Develop yearly goals for the Industrial Engineering team and work with the team to track progress.
  • Challenge the status quo and build out better ways of working for the Industrial Engineering team.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously from conception to completion and act as a liaison between the Operations and Engineering teams ensuring a robust and reliable solution is implemented.
  • Evaluate and improve operational costs surrounding staffing, units per hour (UPH), etc.
  • Work cross functionally to re-engineer & design process flows, layouts, workstations, etc. using computer-aided software (CAD).
  • Utilize MOST modeling to assist with process creation, labor standards, and identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Leverage statistical analysis to report on fulfillment KPIs.
  • Create and maintain standard work documents.
  • Assist with operational and financial forecasting, staffing, productivity, capital expenditures, CapEx justifications, improvement analyses, etc.
  • Collaborate on designing or retrofitting existing automation processes.
  • Create FMEAs and use them for reducing risk within respective process paths.
  • Have a positive attitude towards challenges and are willing to learn new skills.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
You are...
  • Experienced in leading a team (minimum of 1 year).
  • Experienced with root cause analysis and using data to drive change.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and Google Suite, with a strong emphasis in Excel. SQL experience is desired.
  • Experienced in AutoCAD.
  • Are able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines for deliverables.
  • Effective with oral and written communication skills for all levels within the distribution center, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
  • Able to take the initiative and work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Experienced in fulfillment and distribution processes.
  • Willing to travel 50% of the time.
At minimum you have...
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or comparable discipline
  • At least 7 years of Industrial Engineering experience within a highly automated distribution/warehousing environment desired

Arizona Pay Range

$127,890-$147,900 USD

Illinois Pay Range

$137,445-$158,950 USD
