What will you be doing?

As a Senior Manager II on Circana's Sales Agency (Broker) and Specialty Retailer team, you will play a critical role in managing and growing strategic client partnerships. You will serve as a trusted advisor to assigned clients, proactively engaging with key stakeholders to ensure Circana's insights, data, and solutions are aligned with their business priorities, growth strategies, and evolving market needs.

This role is responsible for supporting and executing account growth strategies, identifying and developing new business opportunities, and expanding client adoption of Circana's broad portfolio of solutions, including syndicated data, AI, technology and data integration capabilities, and other offerings. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver client value, strengthen relationships, and drive long-term revenue growth.

Success in this role requires balancing account leadership with operational execution. You will partner closely with Client Service, Product, and Commercial teams to ensure solutions are delivered accurately, on time, and with measurable business impact for clients. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, has strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and has the ability to uncover client needs and position appropriate solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build Client Relationships: Serve as the trusted day-to-day partner to expand client relationships and drive collaboration.
  • Consultative Selling: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand Circana products/solutions with clients by aligning with their strategic goals.
  • Achieve Revenue Targets: Contribute to achieve team sales goals through disciplined pipeline management and strategic account planning.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with internal teams (e.g., Client Service, Extract/Technology, Product, and Consumer) to deliver integrated solutions and ensure client success.
  • Maintain Industry Expertise: Stay current on trends in retail, CPG, and general merchandise to position Circana as a thought leader and trusted advisor.
  • Utilize Sales Tools and Platforms: Leverage Circana's proprietary platforms (e.g., Unify+, Liquid Data, Extracts/Intelligence Suite) to support client engagements and solution delivery.
  • Champion Client Success: Ensure client satisfaction by proactively addressing challenges, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering consistent value.
  • Advanced Analytic Skills: Demonstrated ability to conceive, manage, and deliver fact-based analyses, including consumer solutions, providing clients with clear, actionable insights to inform strategy.


Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with syndicated POS data utilizing Circana/IRI/NielsenIQ tools.
  • Background in sales and/or marketing within a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) company or Retailer or comparable data-driven environment.
  • Ability to listen and understand client's needs and translate into business questions to be answered through available data sources.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate data and analysis into compelling, business-relevant insights.
  • High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and syndicated data tools like Unify+.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; able to balance and prioritize multiple priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Consultative, solution-oriented approach to both client and internal team interactions.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $100,000.00 to $125,000.00 USD.

This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
