What You'll Get To Do

The Senior Manager, HR Corporate Functions is a trusted HR business partner to Corporate leadership (Finance, IT, Legal, & other corporate functions) & a hands-on execution partner for OBE's transformation & growth initiatives. This role helps implement the people strategy that drives organizational effectiveness, clarity, & talent readiness across corporate teams, working closely with the Director to translate strategy into action. The ideal leader brings solid experience supporting organizational change & HR programs, with a track record of partnering with functional managers & teams to deliver results.
  • Support transformation & org design: Help shape corporate functions' organizational structures, spans/layers, & operating mechanisms; execute change management plans at the team level that build adoption & resilience.
  • Partner with corporate managers & leaders: Serve as a day-to-day HR partner to Finance, IT, Legal, & other corporate function managers; translate business needs into practical people solutions that improve efficiency & employee experience.
  • Talent strategy & workforce planning: Support succession planning for functional teams; help design career paths & competency models; manage hiring plans & onboarding to accelerate ramp time for corporate roles.
  • Performance & culture: Help embed performance culture (OKRs, manager effectiveness) & recognition programs that reinforce operational excellence at the team level.
  • Leadership development: Coordinate development programs (including high-potential & early-career pathways) tailored to corporate functions; support diverse slates & equitable advancement practices.
  • Rewards & job architecture alignment: Partner with Total Rewards/Compensation to align roles, job codes, & bands; support pay transparency requirements & consistency with OBE policies & UKG/Greenhouse integrations.
  • Employee relations & risk management: Manage ER matters & investigations for assigned client groups; coach managers to resolve issues proactively & compliantly, escalating complex cases as needed.
  • HR operations excellence: Drive process improvements across recruiting, onboarding, performance reviews, & HR systems for corporate functions; support clean data & reporting across UKG 14 Greenhouse integrations.
  • Stakeholder engagement & communications: Create clear, credible communications during change; support leader roundtables & town halls; track adoption & impact metrics.

What We're Looking For
  • 7+ years progressive HR experience, with 2-3+ years directly partnering with corporate/functional teams (multi-region or multi-site experience a plus).
  • Experience supporting or leading team-level transformations (org design, change management, capability building), ideally within manufacturing/distribution or building products.
  • Demonstrated impact on organizational effectiveness (e.g., talent strategy execution, manager capability building, performance mechanisms).
  • Good business acumen & data fluency (workforce analytics, compensation/market data, performance metrics); able to turn insights into action.
  • Experience operating within a matrix, functionally organized enterprise, with proven success partnering & delivering results within & outside direct reporting lines.
  • Strong communication & stakeholder management skills; comfortable coaching managers through change.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR/Business (preferred); PHR/SHRM-CP a plus.
