This role reports into our Director of Global Supply Management. What you'll do:- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Global Supply Managers; foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous professional growth.
- Strategic Sourcing Oversight: Oversee the end-to-end sourcing strategy for a broad portfolio of commodities, ensuring alignment with Form's long-term product roadmap and manufacturing scale-up.
- Supply Base Architecture: Design and implement a robust supplier risk management framework, identifying second-source opportunities and geopolitical risks to ensure 100% supply continuity.
- Executive Negotiations: Lead high-stakes negotiations for multi-million dollar master service agreements (MSAs) and long-term supply agreements, optimizing for total cost of ownership, quality, and risk.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as a key liaison between GSM, Engineering, Finance, and Quality leadership to ensure seamless integration of supply chain strategy into the product development process.
- Process Excellence: Drive the implementation of scalable GSM tools and processes (e.g., QBRs, supplier scorecards, and cost-modeling templates) to improve departmental efficiency.
What you'll bring:- Deep Leadership Experience: 3+ years of experience directly managing or leading supply chain/procurement professionals in a high-growth hardware or energy environment.
- Strategic Sourcing Expertise: 7+ years of total experience in strategic sourcing, with a proven track record of managing complex global supply chains and multi-tiered supplier relationships.
- Technical Category Depth: Deep expertise in managing a diverse portfolio of complex commodities, including custom mechanical assemblies (metal stampings, plastic injection moldings, etc) and/or electro-mechanical systems (PCBAs, power electronics, energy conversion hardware, etc).
- Communication: Exceptional executive presence; ability to distill complex supply chain risks and strategies into actionable insights for senior leadership.
- Advanced Negotiation Skills: Expert-level understanding of commercial law and complex contract structures; proven track record of securing favorable terms for multi-million dollar global supply agreements.
- Change Management and Tactical Execution: Expert at building scalable inter-departmental change management processes and leading teams through decision-making in dynamic, fluid situations.
- Technical Cost Modeling: Deep expertise in advanced cost-modeling (Clean Sheet, Should-Cost analysis) and logistics optimization to drive best-in-class pricing and continual cost reductions.
