The Senior Manager, Global Supplier Partnerships serves as a strategic advisor responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing services procurement programs across a portfolio of clients. This role partners closely with client stakeholders, consulting suppliers, and internal delivery teams to drive sourcing excellence, supplier performance, cost optimization, and governance compliance within the professional services and consulting category.

Acting as a subject matter expert in services procurement, the Senior Manager, Global Supplier Partnerships delivers market intelligence, category strategy, supplier engagement, and negotiation in partnership with finance and legal teams to ensure clients maximize value from their consulting spend while maintaining access to specialized capabilities. The role balances supplier partnership management with disciplined governance, helping clients navigate complex consulting engagements and make informed, data-driven sourcing decisions.

The Senior Manager, Global Supplier Partnerships is also responsible for fostering productive relationships with leading consulting firms, influencing supplier participation in procurement programs, and supporting the development of innovative category solutions that enhance client outcomes. Through thought leadership, analytics, and strategic consultation, this role helps position Allegis Global Solutions as a trusted advisor and industry leader in consulting services procurement.

Essential Functions:
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to clients on consulting services procurement, category management, and supplier optimization initiatives.
  • Lead complex sourcing projects involving management consulting, technology consulting, advisory services, systems integration, and specialized professional services.
  • Partner with client stakeholders to understand business objectives, consulting requirements, and project outcomes to develop effective sourcing strategies.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with consulting suppliers, including Big 4, Tier 1, boutique, and niche consulting firms.
  • Facilitate supplier engagement, competitive bidding events, supplier evaluations, and proposal assessments.
  • In partnership with finance and legal teams, facilitate negotiation strategies related to statements of work (SOWs), service levels, cost savings strategies, risk mitigation, and commercial terms.
  • Promote governance standards and procurement best practices while balancing business requirements and supplier collaboration.
  • Analyze market conditions, emerging trends, supplier capabilities, and industry developments to provide actionable recommendations to clients.
  • Develop category insights and reporting that deliver visibility into supplier performance, spend management, utilization trends, and program effectiveness.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, supply chain expansion, and service innovation.
  • Support supplier performance management activities, including business reviews, capability assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide escalation support for complex supplier issues and facilitate resolution through effective stakeholder management and diplomacy.
  • Contribute to the development of category playbooks, procurement methodologies, supplier engagement frameworks, and best practices.
  • Create thought leadership content, case studies, client presentations, and market intelligence materials that showcase category expertise and business impact.
  • Act as a mentor and subject matter resource for Supply Chain Consultants and other procurement professionals.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier management, consulting procurement, management consulting, or a related environment.
  • Experience managing professional services or consulting categories within corporate procurement, an MSP, consulting, or outsourcing environment, including complex sourcing and negotiation engagements.
  • Strong understanding of consulting engagement structures, staffing models, rate card management, statements of work, category management, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
  • Experience partnering with senior client stakeholders and influencing sourcing decisions without direct authority.
