Senior Manager, Global Product Returns and Remarketing

The Senior Manager, Worldwide Product Returns and Remarketing will lead the global strategy and execution for product returns, disposition, remarketing, and value recovery across returned, excess, and end-of-life products. This role is accountable for improving reverse supply chain performance, accelerating inventory movement, maximizing financial recovery, strengthening partner execution, and delivering scalable, compliant, and customer-centered operating models. The role may be based in Houston, Texas, United States or Guadalajara, Mexico and will partner across operations, finance, category, refurbishment, sales, and regional teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead worldwide product returns and remarketing strategy across forecasting, operations, disposition, resale, refurbishment, recycling, and recovery pathways.

  • Own business performance for returned, excess, and end-of-life products, including inventory velocity, aging exposure, recovery value, cost, service levels, and customer experience.

  • Develop and govern global operating processes, KPIs, and performance routines that improve predictability, compliance, partner execution, and end-to-end accountability.

  • Build and manage cross-functional execution plans with reverse logistics, refurbishment, finance, category, sales, planning, regional operations, and external business partners.

  • Use market, financial, operational, and inventory insights to identify recovery opportunities, manage risks, forecast outcomes, and recommend actions to senior leadership.

  • Drive process standardization, AI and automation, digital enablement, and continuous improvement initiatives that reduce waste, improve cycle time, and scale global execution.

Qualifications
  • Global people leadership experience with the ability to lead, develop, and inspire distributed teams across regions, cultures, and functions.

  • Strong knowledge of reverse logistics, product returns, remarketing, refurbishment, product disposition, channel sales, and inventory optimization.

  • Financial and commercial acumen with experience improving recovery value, managing cost, analyzing inventory exposure, and influencing business trade-offs.

  • Executive communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into concise insights, decisions, risks, and recommendations for senior stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, manage external partners, resolve operational escalations, and align teams around measurable outcomes.

  • Continuous improvement and digital transformation mindset, including experience with process excellence, analytics, automation, governance, and scalable operating models.

Education & Experience

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations management, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

  • Typically has 10+ years of job-related experience or 8-10 years of management experience, preferably in supply chain, operations, or a related field.


Preferred Certifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

  • Certified Professional In Supply Management (Standards Organizations)

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range for this role is$121,950.00 - $179,900.00 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
