Full Job Description
Overview

The Senior Manager, Global Product Marketing drives product-line growth and lifecycle management for assigned products or segments—from launch through on-market support to obsolescence. The role translates portfolio and segment strategy into product-line plans and commercial inputs (market assessment, segmentation, growth projections, marketing plans, positioning, pricing, and competitive response), partnering with Market Access, Scientific Affairs, Regional Marketing, Commercial, and Supply Chain.

How You’ll Make An Impact:

  • Portfolio growth strategy & initiatives: Contribute to franchise and long-range planning, growth projections, and marketing growth plans. Translate global strategy into guidance, opportunity data, and tools for Regions and Commercial.
  • On-Market Lifecycle, sustaining prioritization & CAPA: Drive phase-in/phase-out and obsolescence decisions to protect the customer experience and improve portfolio productivity and profitability. Monitor product performance (quality signals, complaints, cost-to-serve, usage, and mix) to recommend sustaining prioritization, contribute to CAPA, and develop customer communications.
  • Market research & opportunity assessment: Maintain voice-of-customer (VOC), TAM/SAM, payer and clinical trends, technology developments, evolving clinical practice/guidelines, and competitive intelligence. Synthesize these into market assessments, customer segmentation, and competitor strategies that shape segment strategy, product-line roadmaps, and growth opportunities.
  • Positioning & evidence inputs: Partner with Scientific Affairs, Market Access, and Regional Marketing to shape value propositions and messaging grounded in clinical evidence and customer language, positioning the product within the segment strategy and competitive landscape.
  • Performance reporting & franchise KPIs: Use dashboards to track revenue, mix, margins, adoption, and other indicators, and provide insights and corrective-action recommendations to key stakeholders.

What You Bring:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required; Advanced degree (MS, MPH, MBA, or Ph.D.) preferred.
  • Work Experience: Typically 7–10+ years in diagnostics/biotech/med-devices, including sales and regional marketing experience. Proven record of lifecycle management (LCM) of a product portfolio in a matrix environment.
  • Proven track record in global product marketing within the autoimmune diagnostics / in vitro diagnostics (IVD) industry, with demonstrated success driving commercial strategies across diverse global markets.
  • Deep expertise in autoimmune disease pathology, including a comprehensive understanding of autoantibody testing methodologies, relevant biomarkers, and their clinical utility in disease diagnosis, monitoring, and management.
