We are looking for a Finance Enterprise Partner at the Senior Manager level depending on experience to support a number of our R&D functions. Being part of our finance community can then offer opportunities for progression over time to support molecule teams and/or other development functions in early/late stage.
Your main responsibilities are:
Serve initially as a Finance Enterprise Partner to development functions in early stage with the expectation that over time you may go on to support molecule teams and/or other development functions in early and/or late stage
Serve as thought partner and leader in driving value creation, while also driving productivity and transformation initiatives across the teams. Drive transparency and insights to make good business decisions in support of our ambition.
Embrace our new R&D Finance Network model and advance the collaboration model between eCOE and other Finance units
Build (and dissolve) networks across the organization to drive important business outcomes and initiatives
Seek opportunities to align interests with business need and impact, while committing to action
Who You Are:
To be successful in this role, you bring:
Bachelor degree is required, MA/MBA is a plus
A minimum 5+ years of relevant finance experience, ideally including several years of experience as business partner or global controller
Excellent ability to interact with and influence decision-making at senior management levels, strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to synthesize complex analyses into pragmatic and actionable guidance for business partners
Ability to network throughout a global, complex and matrixed organization and able to bring a dynamic and entrepreneurial mindset, seeking continuous opportunities and improvement
Strategic agility to develop flexible scenarios and solutions; anticipate changing internal and competitive landscapes, envision the future state of finance and the business and lead team(s) to develop and execute long-term initiatives
Passion for the drug development process and ability to work with ambiguity, balancing risk and reward and to take smart risks
Proven record of providing financial stewardship and ensuring Financial governance
Proven leadership and coaching skills with a passion to develop and nurture talent
High motivation to work collaboratively and enable agile ways of working, creative mindset and empowered decision-making
This position is based in South San Francisco, CA and has an in office requirement of 3 days/wk.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco is $130,800.00 -$243,000.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
