What does a Senior Manager, Fleet Operations do at Swire Coca-Cola?
A Fleet Operations Manager at Swire Coca-Cola, USA is responsible for leading the daily operations of the Swire Fleet Maintenance department and 3rd party vendors as well as ensuring that all Fleet equipment is repaired and maintained in a safe and cost-effective manner to ensure our employees can perform the duties of their roles.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all maintenance and repairs of fleet vehicles and/or equipment are performed in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner for all 3rd party managed locations.
  • Ensure alignment of preventive maintenance programs are followed.
  • Perform quality control audits of repairs and services.
  • Ensure accuracy of documentation generated by employees at Swire CC/vendor shops for all maintenance/repair activities.
  • Conduct Fleet training classes as needed and ensure appropriate training and development opportunities for all team members.
  • Ensure compliance to Company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Ensure that vehicles are prepared for transfer or disposal as appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance to annual cost budget; explain and justify cost variances.
  • Negotiating contracts with suppliers in all locations and assess the performance of vendors
  • Working with the Safety Department on property damage incidents involving fleet equipment.
  • Ensure all vehicle damage is reported, and repairs are completed.
  • Work with fleet team at all Distribution Centers to review/authorize repairs and issue PO's.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school required or
  • Five to ten years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. required
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanics and Heavy Equipment repair required. required
  • Knowledge of repair and maintenance methods, equipment, techniques, parts, processes, pricing, suppliers, industry standards and best practices used in vehicle repair and maintenance
  • Knowledge of DOT laws, federal regulations, best practices, fleet makes & models, specifications, operations, and industry standards regarding large fleet equipment, and material handling equipment
  • Skilled in problem definition, data collection, fact establishment, and valid conclusion drawing
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal) with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to lead others and provide direction in a clear and concise manner; ability to develop others and ensure career growth opportunities exist for team members.
  • Ability to manage costs effectively; ability to create and maintain annual cost budget.
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule if needed.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word), Fleet Management Software, SAP Software, and Preventative Maintenance Programs

Base pay range is $110,128 - $144,54 plus bonus structure (dependent on role). Pay offered will depend on candidate's geographic location, prior relevant experience, knowledge, skills, & abilities.
