Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Systems Manager to lead the strategy, governance, optimization, and day-to-day management of enterprise financial systems supporting global finance operations. This role will serve as the primary business and technology leader for financial planning, consolidation, reconciliation, reporting, and ERP platforms while driving operational excellence, compliance, transformation initiatives, and stakeholder engagement.

The successful candidate will combine strong financial systems expertise with people leadership, project management, and business partnership capabilities. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the stability, scalability, and continuous improvement of the organization's finance technology ecosystem while supporting the evolving needs of global finance teams.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Act as the business owner and strategic leader for enterprise financial systems, including consolidation, planning, reconciliation, reporting, and ERP platforms.
  • Oversee system health, performance, maintenance, upgrades, security, and ongoing enhancements across finance applications.
  • Lead prioritization and execution of finance system projects, enhancements, and transformation initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, third-party vendors, and managed service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Support financial planning, forecasting, consolidation, close, reconciliation, and reporting processes through effective system management and optimization.
  • Drive governance of financial master data, chart of accounts structures, mappings, and related controls.
  • Lead finance technology initiatives including automation, process improvement, cloud transitions, and reporting modernization projects.
  • Manage and mentor a team of finance systems professionals while supporting outsourced resources and vendor teams.
  • Oversee Power BI reporting initiatives, dashboard development, and reporting automation opportunities.
  • Support audit, compliance, SOX, and access governance activities, ensuring adherence to control frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with finance, accounting, IT, and business teams to gather requirements, prioritize requests, and resolve production issues.
  • Maintain system documentation, training materials, knowledge repositories, and operational procedures.
  • Lead incident management, issue resolution, and continuous improvement activities for finance systems and reporting platforms.

You are someone with these skills, experience and qualifications:
  • University degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience supporting business functions through financial systems, process improvement, and technology initiatives.
  • 5+ years of experience managing teams and leading people.
  • Strong experience supporting enterprise finance systems and ERP environments.
  • Deep understanding of:

    • General Ledger Processes
    • Financial Close and Consolidation
    • Financial Controls and Compliance
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Oracle EPM

    • Reconciliation management solutions
    • Power BI
  • Experience leading large-scale system implementations, upgrades, and transformation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of SOX controls, audit requirements, access governance, and financial systems compliance.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Experience working with managed service providers, vendors, and outsourced teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate finance requirements into scalable technology solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is highly desirable.

  • Professional accounting designation such as CPA, CA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Experience serving as a Product Owner for financial planning, consolidation, reconciliation, or reporting platforms.
  • Experience supporting:
    • Oracle Cloud
    • Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
    • Planning and Budgeting Cloud Solutions (PBCS)
    • Financial Data Quality Management (FDMEE)
    • Account Reconciliation platforms (ARCS)
  • Experience managing enterprise reporting and analytics programs using Power BI.
  • Exposure to AI, Copilot, automation, workflow optimization, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience leading finance system modernization, cloud migration, or ERP transformation programs.
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing, data pipelines, reporting architectures, and financial analytics.
  • Experience supporting global finance organizations across multiple geographies and business units.
  • Familiarity with IT service management tools and governance frameworks.
  • Experience managing large teams comprising both internal employees and outsourced resources.
  • Passion for continuous improvement, innovation, knowledge sharing, and operational excellence.


Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $112,000 - $208,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
