Altera is seeking a highly motivated
Senior Manager, Finance Transformation & Programs to lead key finance transformation initiatives that improve scalability, operational efficiency, and business performance. This individual will partner closely with Finance, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive system implementations, process improvements, automation initiatives, and readiness activities supporting Altera's continued growth.
This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong program management skills who enjoys solving complex business challenges at the intersection of finance and technology.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Transformation & Program Execution
- Lead the execution of strategic finance initiatives, including ERP enhancements, financial systems implementations, automation projects, and process improvement efforts.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and stakeholder communications.
- Partner with finance leaders to identify opportunities for increased efficiency, scalability, and process excellence.
Finance Systems & Process Optimization
- Support the optimization and enhancement of finance-related systems, including ERP, planning, reporting, and data management platforms.
- Drive automation and process standardization across finance operations.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to improve system functionality and user experience.
Cross-Functional Program Leadership
- Partner with Finance, IT, HR, and business stakeholders to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Facilitate alignment, issue resolution, and change management activities.
- Ensure programs remain on schedule, within scope, and deliver expected business outcomes.
IPO & Corporate Readiness
- Support finance process, reporting, and system readiness initiatives related to IPO preparation and public company requirements.
- Assist with integration planning and execution for acquisitions and other strategic business initiatives.
- Support the development of scalable controls and governance processes.
Operational Excellence & Governance
- Establish project tracking, reporting, and governance processes.
- Monitor program risks, dependencies, and performance metrics.
- Deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, compliance, and business effectiveness.
Qualifications:Required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Finance Transformation, Program Management, Financial Systems, Finance Operations, or related disciplines.
- Experience leading finance-related projects including ERP implementations, process improvement initiatives, or systems transformations.
- Strong understanding of finance processes including accounting, financial reporting, FP&A, and internal controls.
- Excellent project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Experience in semiconductor, technology, manufacturing, or other high-growth global organizations.
- Exposure to IPO readiness, SOX compliance, public company reporting, or M&A integration activities.
- MBA, CPA, PMP, or related professional certification.
- Experience with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, Anaplan, or similar solutions.
