In this role, you will provide financial leadership for the Etch product group by driving visibility into cost structures, gross margin performance, and key profitability drivers. You will partner with the business to identify cost reduction opportunities, support margin improvement initiatives, and analyze customer pricing and deal terms to improve business performance. You will serve as a trusted advisor to cross-functional leaders and drive outcomes that balance innovation, execution, and accountability.
Primary Activities
Develop pricing, cost, and margin insights to support financial forecasts, business planning, and disciplined decision-making aligned with product group objectives.
Drive gross margin visibility by analyzing mix, cost changes, pricing actions, and margin trends to identify risks, opportunities, and practical recommendations.
Ensure pricing, cost, and margin data are accurate, controlled, and delivered on time to support reporting, close, forecast, and audit requirements.
Manage and mentor the offshore team to strengthen execution, build capability, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Build and maintain advanced financial models, business cases, ROI analyses, scenario comparisons, and sensitivity analyses to evaluate portfolio options and support investment decisions.
Leverage advanced analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools to identify trends, quantify risks, improve forecast accuracy, and enable faster, more informed decisions.
Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.
Support internal and external audits, as well as controls and compliance-related activities.
Cultivate trusted business relationships, gain deep understanding of the business, and act as an advisor providing practical guidance on growth opportunities and cost savings.
What you'll do
Who we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or business-related field with 8+ years of experience; or Master's degree or equivalent certification (MBA, CPA, CFA, CA, CMA, or equivalent) with 6+ years' experience; or equivalent experience.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, dashboards, and data visualization.
Attention to detail and demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain business partner relationships at all levels of the organization.
Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload; effective multi-tasking skills are vital.
Preferred qualifications
Foundational understanding of US GAAP.
Prior experience within technology, manufacturing, or related industries.
SAP and Business Objects experience is highly desirable or demonstrable strong systems skills.
Working knowledge of forecasting tools (Workday Adaptive), data visualization (Power BI), and advanced Excel skills for analysis of large data sets.
Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed environment, drive continuous improvement, and navigate ambiguity.
Ability to collaborate with diverse, cross-functional, and international teams, including flexibility to accommodate global time zones.
Salary
CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $137,000.00 - $287,000.00.
The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
