Overview

As a Senior Manager in our Enterprise Tax practice, you will play a key leadership role in delivering tax planning and compliance services to privately owned and entrepreneurial businesses. As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with KPMG Partners to design and deliver integrated tax planning strategies that address both corporate and personal tax considerations, helping clients navigate complexity and make confident business decisions.

The position offers meaningful long-term career development within KPMG's Sudbury Enterprise Tax practice, including the opportunity to progress into expanded leadership roles as part of the firm's succession and growth plans

What you will do

  • Lead and manage client engagements, serving as a trusted advisor on complex tax planning and compliance matters
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee engagement teams in the preparation of tax returns, supported by well researched and clearly presented tax analysis
  • Review the work prepared by junior team members to ensure technical accuracy, quality, and consistency
  • Play a key role in growing the practice by supporting new initiatives, expanding service offerings, and contributing to strategic growth priorities.
  • Contribute to the development and scaling of the team, including mentoring, coaching, and supporting the growth of junior and emerging talent

What you bring to the role

  • Minimum 5-7 years specializing in Tax in a public accounting firm
  • Professional Accounting Designation
  • Completed, or nearly completed the CPA In-Depth Tax Course
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Excellent client service skills with the ability to understand the client's business

KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range Information

The expected base salary range for this position is $105,000 to $155,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant's base salary within this range is based on the individual's location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
