Job DescriptionWhat will you do?- Perform comprehensive strategic reviews and analyses leveraging frameworks, approaches, tools and methodologies and develop robust recommendations to support Group Executive, segment Operating Committees, and lines of business
- Ensure growth strategies are well developed, articulated and aligned across businesses and with enterprise perspective/priorities, and proactively identify benefits such as revenue streams or cost savings opportunities
- Support the annual enterprise strategic development process, business portfolio review, and related senior leader off sites/events to advance RBC's strategy
- Produce strategy materials for Group Executive and Board for review, discussion, and decision
- Gain the position of trusted advisor and help facilitate trade-off / prioritization decisions with senior leaders, strategists, functions, cross-functional project teams and colleagues by providing rigorous strategic insight based on thorough research and analysis
- Manage work streams and present engagement deliverables, raising risks / issues and providing solutions to minimize impact on timelines
What do you need to succeed?Must-have- 3+ years of management consulting experience in business strategy, organizational transformation, or corporate strategy engagements
- Demonstrated ability in project design, management and implementation
- Interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong relationships at every level of the organization
- Strong written and oral presentation skills and presence; strong technical ability with PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Comfortable working in ambiguous situations and across different lines of business
Nice-to-have- MBA or graduate / post-graduate or professional designations or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in Financial Services consulting or advising financial institutions on strategic initiatives
- Experience with new/emerging businesses and digital business models
