Role

We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead our Enterprise AI/BI Analytics Platform, responsible for defining and executing the strategy, architecture, and delivery of modern business intelligence and AI-enabled analytics capabilities across the organization.

This role sits at the intersection of data platform, business intelligence, and applied AI, and will drive the evolution from traditional dashboards toward AI-powered, semantic, and self-service analytics experiences.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical depth, platform thinking, and strong leadership to scale enterprise analytics in alignment with our broader data platform vision.

Responsibilities
  • Own and evolve the enterprise BI ecosystem including Spotfire, Tableau, Qlik, and Power BI
  • Rationalize tool usage, define platform standards, and reduce fragmentation over time
  • Establish scalable patterns for dashboard development, performance optimization, governance and access control
  • Drive migration toward a unified, metadata-driven analytics experience
  • Define and execute the roadmap for AI-enabled analytics (AI/BI), including natural language querying, embedded AI insights and copilots, automated insights and anomaly detection
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies (e.g., LLM-based analytics, semantic querying)
  • Ensure tight integration between a "thin" BI layer, business transformation logic (dbt), the semantic layer (dbt) and the metadata layer (Unity Catalog)
  • Partner with enterprise data governance to align on standards and policies
  • Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and the AI/BI analytics platform
  • Drive adoption of modern analytics capabilities across functions
  • Translate business needs into scalable platform solutions
  • Promote data literacy and effective use of BI tools


Requirements
  • BS degree required preferably within the Computer Science or Bioinformatics
  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g., biotech/pharma) preferred
  • 5-8+ years of experience in BI, analytics, or data platform roles
  • 3+ years of operational management experience
  • Experience with AI/BI or augmented analytics
  • Deep experience with at least 2 of the following:
    • Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Spotfire
  • Strong experience with:
    • Modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake)
    • SQL and data modeling
    • dbt or equivalent transformation frameworks
  • Familiarity with metadata and governance concepts (e.g., Unity Catalog, data lineage)


For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:

$130,560.00---$195,840.00

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as discretionary bonuses and long-term incentives.
