We are looking for a collaborative and strategic Senior Manager, Election Protection to drive our work with our coalition partners. This role will collaborate with teams across the organization as well as with many of our coalition partners.
This is a full-time, temporary role starting July 16, 2026 and ending January 31, 2027. This role will report to the Senior Vice President, Impact & Strategy, and is remote anywhere within the lower 48 United States. Preference for this person to be located in Washington, DC.

Progress monitor to ensure we are hitting our goals
- Trackprogress on keymetrics to ensurethecoalition is reaching shared goals

- Create reports for coalition partners and funders

- Demonstratedknowledge oftheunique aspects ofour national political dynamic as well as knowledge of funders and decision-makers at thenational level,with a preference for candidates who have existing relationships with these people and organizations
>
- Experience leadingsuccessfullocal- orstate-level public advocacy campaigns and organizing related to democracy, elections, voting rights andcivil rights, includingcreatingand managingcampaign or annual plans, from conception through implementation
>
- Ability to travel 3-4 times per year for team and/or all staff retreats
>
- Ability to work in-person in the DC or state office at least 2 days per week.

- Willing to have a social media presence on behalf of Common Cause, including being tagged on posts and creating content on behalf of the organization (as needed, Common Cause will provide accounts for staff members to use)

- Per our nonpartisan policy, Common Cause staff members may not currently be in elected office (or running for office); on the Steering Committee or Finance Committee for any political candidate; or affiliated with the leadership of a political party

$100,786 - $116,699 a year
