As the Mgr-Outside Plant in the Construction Support Group (CSG), you will direct a team of up to 10 management professionals supporting daily operations for Construction scheduling, dispatch, customer delivery, and strategic programs. You will oversee scheduling, dispatch, and project management for field teams—coordinating roadblock mitigation, engineering work order validation, material controls, compliance, dispatch integration, job reconciliation, and engineering interface.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Directing Construction dispatch, scheduling, and strategic programs across an AVP Market Area.
• Overseeing program execution and driving target achievement.
• Leading cross-functional projects to align with business strategies and requirements.
• Drive construction transformation by utilizing and promoting AI and leading initiatives to reduce cost points and build with speed.
• Delivering data analysis and capacity reporting for senior executive review.
• Providing continuous updates to executive leadership on program progress.
• Maintaining proactive communication channels with key partner organizations.
• Structuring build initiatives to support corporate financial targets and operational performance goals.
• Creating action plans to meet objective milestones.
• Collaborating cross-functionally to implement tracking metrics, test plans, end-user communications, and business goals.
• Advocating for the customer across departments—such as IT, Network Planning, and Outside Plant—to protect committed timelines, budgets, and user experience.

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of equivalent work experience.
• Recent, hands-on experience in the Construction Support Group.
• Proficiency reading Engineering Work Orders and utilizing vBuild, Optix CXM and other construction systems and dashboards.
• Proven capability partnering across all leadership tiers to meet key milestones.
• Proficiency with the full Google Workspace application suite.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in union environments.
• Willingness to travel on occasion.

• Proven success leading large-scale initiatives and delivering projects.
