Full Job Description
The Role

TuneIn is looking for a Senior Manager or Director of Partnerships to own and grow our most important partner relationships across consumer electronics platforms.

This is a hybrid strategic and hands-on role. You will act as the senior relationship owner for a portfolio of high-impact partners (including major global platforms), while also serving as the day-to-day account leader who ensures integrations perform, issues are resolved, and opportunities are realized.

In this position, you will play a critical role in ensuring TuneIn's partnerships continue to scale sustainably. Success here means delivering stronger partner relationships, faster issue resolution, clearer internal accountability, and greater long-term value from existing integrations.

Scope of Work

Own and Grow Strategic Partnerships
  • Serve as the primary account owner for TuneIn's most important existing partners across consumer electronics platforms.
  • Build deep, trusted relationships at multiple levels within partner organizations, from day-to-day operators to senior stakeholders.
  • Elevate TuneIn's presence with partners by partnering with internal executives when senior-level engagement is needed.
  • Ensure partners clearly understand TuneIn's value, roadmap, and impact on their products.
Drive Account Optimization & Operational Excellence
  • Lead the post-launch lifecycle of partnerships, including optimization, troubleshooting, enhancements, and amendments.
  • Coordinate technical issue resolution by working closely with Product, Engineering, QA, and Operations (e.g., Jira workflows, escalation paths).
  • Ability to analyze, synthesize, and translate performance and engagement data, and make recommendations based on qualitative data.
  • Translate partner needs into clear business requirements and action plans, without requiring deep technical authorship.
  • Translate TuneIn's business, product, or technical needs to partners (with support from TuneIn technical teams as needed).
  • Set and maintain a clear cadence of partner check-ins (e.g., quarterly business reviews).
Cross-Functional Orchestration
  • Act as the connective tissue across Product, Ads, Marketing, Content, Design, Operations, and QA.
  • Ensure internal teams have a realistic, shared understanding of what TuneIn can expect from major partners (e.g., support models, escalation paths, and response timelines).
  • Partner with Ads and Content teams to unlock incremental value (e.g., inventory acquisition, content opportunities, promotional support).
Contract & Commercial Support
  • Support contract amendments, renewals, and incremental commercial opportunities in partnership with Legal and Revenue leadership.
  • Help identify opportunities to expand or strengthen existing partnerships.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of professional experience, with 5+ years managing strategic partnerships or accounts at a senior level.
  • Strong background working with consumer electronics partners.
  • Experience operating at a Senior Manager or Director level, managing complex, high-visibility partners.
  • Proven experience in startup or high-growth environments with ambiguity and evolving processes.
  • Experience in ad-supported and/or subscription-based businesses strongly preferred.

Skills & Capabilities

  • Exceptional relationship management skills, able to be both a trusted operator and a strategic leader.
  • Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders internally and externally, with strong cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Technical fluency; ability to understand integration concepts, troubleshooting workflows, and technical dependencies sufficient to coordinate cross-functionally and represent partner needs clearly.
  • Highly organized, pragmatic, and solutions-oriented.
  • Comfortable managing a portfolio of accounts with clear prioritization and load balancing.

Our Benefits & Compensation

  • Coverage of premium health plans for employees and eligible dependents (including dental and vision plans)
  • HSA and FSA Savings
  • Paid parental leave
  • Flexible PTO policy and 12 paid holidays (2026)
  • Wellness stipend
  • Technology stipend
  • Individual training and educational spending
  • 401k Plan
  • Pet insurance discount
  • WFH one-time stipend
