The RoleTuneIn is looking for a Senior Manager or Director of Partnerships to own and grow our most important partner relationships across consumer electronics platforms.
This is a hybrid strategic and hands-on role. You will act as the senior relationship owner for a portfolio of high-impact partners (including major global platforms), while also serving as the day-to-day account leader who ensures integrations perform, issues are resolved, and opportunities are realized.
In this position, you will play a critical role in ensuring TuneIn's partnerships continue to scale sustainably. Success here means delivering stronger partner relationships, faster issue resolution, clearer internal accountability, and greater long-term value from existing integrations.
Scope of WorkOwn and Grow Strategic Partnerships - Serve as the primary account owner for TuneIn's most important existing partners across consumer electronics platforms.
- Build deep, trusted relationships at multiple levels within partner organizations, from day-to-day operators to senior stakeholders.
- Elevate TuneIn's presence with partners by partnering with internal executives when senior-level engagement is needed.
- Ensure partners clearly understand TuneIn's value, roadmap, and impact on their products.
Drive Account Optimization & Operational Excellence- Lead the post-launch lifecycle of partnerships, including optimization, troubleshooting, enhancements, and amendments.
- Coordinate technical issue resolution by working closely with Product, Engineering, QA, and Operations (e.g., Jira workflows, escalation paths).
- Ability to analyze, synthesize, and translate performance and engagement data, and make recommendations based on qualitative data.
- Translate partner needs into clear business requirements and action plans, without requiring deep technical authorship.
- Translate TuneIn's business, product, or technical needs to partners (with support from TuneIn technical teams as needed).
- Set and maintain a clear cadence of partner check-ins (e.g., quarterly business reviews).
Cross-Functional Orchestration- Act as the connective tissue across Product, Ads, Marketing, Content, Design, Operations, and QA.
- Ensure internal teams have a realistic, shared understanding of what TuneIn can expect from major partners (e.g., support models, escalation paths, and response timelines).
- Partner with Ads and Content teams to unlock incremental value (e.g., inventory acquisition, content opportunities, promotional support).
Contract & Commercial Support- Support contract amendments, renewals, and incremental commercial opportunities in partnership with Legal and Revenue leadership.
- Help identify opportunities to expand or strengthen existing partnerships.
Qualifications - 10+ years of professional experience, with 5+ years managing strategic partnerships or accounts at a senior level.
- Strong background working with consumer electronics partners.
- Experience operating at a Senior Manager or Director level, managing complex, high-visibility partners.
- Proven experience in startup or high-growth environments with ambiguity and evolving processes.
- Experience in ad-supported and/or subscription-based businesses strongly preferred.
Skills & Capabilities - Exceptional relationship management skills, able to be both a trusted operator and a strategic leader.
- Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders internally and externally, with strong cross-functional leadership skills.
- Technical fluency; ability to understand integration concepts, troubleshooting workflows, and technical dependencies sufficient to coordinate cross-functionally and represent partner needs clearly.
- Highly organized, pragmatic, and solutions-oriented.
- Comfortable managing a portfolio of accounts with clear prioritization and load balancing.

The expected starting salary for this position ranges from
$160,000/yr in our lowest geographic market up to
$180,000/yr in our highest geographic market and may be modified in the future.
