This role is based at our corporate office in McLean, VA

This is your chance to be on our Development team who play a large part in driving Hilton's growth strategy through the addition of new hotels to our ever-growing portfolio! As a Senior Manager, Development Operations, you will lead the Sales Analyst team and partner closely with our Developers to grow our managed and franchised hotel estate. On the Development Operations team reporting to the VP Global Development Operations, with a dotted line to the SVP Development US & Canada, you will be responsible for tracking planning initiatives, leveraging data to draft clear and compelling communications and presentations, and working on initiatives to secure deals and identify and close business performance gaps.

What you'll do during a typical day:
  • Lead a team of analysts who support new hotel project leads and pitches. Responsibilities include: RFP support, lead generation and owner analysis, and delivering ad hoc analysis, reports, and visual presentations tailored to Developer needs.
  • Partner with the Development Analytics and Strategy teams to support regional Development leaders in identifying and closing business performance gaps.
  • Collaborate closely with the VP Global Development Operations to monitor rolling performance and recommend solutions to meet NUG goals.
  • Support the VP Global Development Operations and the SVP Development US & Canada in tracking and executing key strategic initiatives and leading the creation of meeting agendas and follow up deliverables to ensure leaders have the organized information they need to do their jobs.

How you'll collaborate with others:
  • Collaborate effectively with Developers, Development Analytics, Marketing, AD&C, and Strategy teams to assist the Development team to help shape and refine Development strategy.
  • Partner with Developers globally to understand and proactively anticipate operational needs, delivering targeted support that enhances Development effectiveness.
  • Partner closely with the Americas Development Leadership Team, VP Global Development Operations, and cross functional stakeholders throughout the organization (e.g. Human Resources, Corporate Development, GBCS planning leads, etc.) to foster alignment, communication, and team engagement.

Projects you'll take ownership of:
  • Identifying, executing, and tracking to a lead generation strategy that aligns with our Enterprise growth strategy and yearly goals.
  • Create meeting agenda, communications, analyses, reports, and visual presentations that proactively meet Developer needs.
  • Champion improvements for processes related to deal signing, cross-functional collaboration, and Development incentive goal setting.
  • Planning and content development for Leadership Team meetings, offsites, cross functional initiatives, and follow-up action plans that drive focus on the priorities, create strong team alignment, and as well as support new team member onboarding.
  • Collaborate closely with Development Marketing to maximize the power of our data and investments to generate results.
What It Takes to Make the Stay

You have these minimum qualifications:
  • Seven (7) years of work experience in Hotel Development, Advanced Analytics, Reporting, Sales/RFPs or a closely related field
  • Five (5) years of experience in strategy, analysis, or project management working in the Real Estate or Hospitality Industry
  • Strong analytical skills in using data to drive strategy and key decisions
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Salesforce, STR, Costar, ArcGIS, Tableau, and complex databases
  • Travel up to 30%
  • Onsite in McLean, VA

It would be useful if you have:
  • BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience working in a heavily matrixed environment
  • A solid understanding of and a passion for Development and the Hospitality industry

Hilton offers its eligible team members a comprehensive benefits package to support their mental and physical well-being, so they can Thrive personally and professionally. The pay range for this role is $100,000 - $145,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location. Subject to plan terms and conditions, you will be eligible to participate in the Hilton Annual Incentive (Bonus) Plan, consistent with other team members at the same level and/or position within the Company.
