Summary

The Senior Manager, Cybersecurity Awareness & Engagement is responsible for leading Bell's enterprise-wide cybersecurity awareness, engagement, education, and culture programs. The role is accountable for driving secure behaviours across the organization by developing innovative awareness initiatives, targeted communications, learning programs, executive engagement activities, and behavioural change campaigns that reduce human cyber risk and strengthen Bell's security culture.

Reporting to the Director, Information Security, this position leads a team of awareness and engagement professionals and works closely with Information Security, Bell Cyber, Corporate Communications, Human Resources, Privacy, Corporate Security, and business units to ensure security remains a shared responsibility across Bell. The role translates complex cybersecurity risks into meaningful and engaging experiences that help employees make secure decisions every day.

Key Responsibilities

Security Culture & Behaviour Change
  • Lead the development and execution of Bell's cybersecurity awareness and engagement strategy.
  • Foster a security-first culture that promotes accountability, secure behaviours, and informed risk-based decision-making.
  • Develop targeted awareness programs for employees, leaders, developers, privileged users, and high-risk populations.
  • Champion initiatives that strengthen security culture maturity and employee engagement across Bell.
  • Measure and continuously improve security awareness effectiveness through behavioural and performance metrics.

Awareness Programs & Training
  • Lead enterprise-wide security awareness and education programs.
  • Oversee annual awareness campaigns, phishing simulations, surveys, security events, and learning initiatives.
  • Ensure awareness content remains current, engaging, and aligned with emerging threats and business priorities.
  • Drive the adoption and completion of mandatory security awareness training programs.
  • Partner with business units to support role-based education and awareness requirements.

Engagement & Communications
  • Develop and execute communication strategies that increase awareness of cybersecurity risks, threats, and priorities.
  • Deliver engaging content through multiple channels including intranet, newsletters, videos, events, social platforms, leadership communications, and awareness campaigns.
  • Support executive and leadership communications related to cybersecurity initiatives and strategic priorities.
  • Develop messaging that translates technical cybersecurity topics into clear business language.
  • Lead initiatives such as security awareness months, conferences, champion programs, and employee engagement campaigns.

Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing awareness and engagement team.
  • Establish annual objectives, priorities, and performance expectations.
  • Manage budgets, vendors, contracts, and external service providers.
  • Build strong partnerships across Bell to support awareness and engagement objectives.
  • Influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization to advance security culture initiatives.

Measurement, Analytics & Reporting
  • Define key performance indicators and success measures for awareness and engagement programs.
  • Monitor employee participation, engagement, phishing resilience, training completion, and behavioural trends.
  • Produce executive reporting and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Benchmark Bell's awareness program against industry best practices and emerging trends.
  • Leverage automation, analytics, AI, and digital technologies to improve program effectiveness and employee experience.

Stakeholder & External Engagement
  • Partner with Corporate Communications, HR, Bell Cyber, Privacy, Legal, and Corporate Security teams.
  • Coordinate enterprise-wide awareness initiatives and communication plans.
  • Support customer-facing awareness activities and external thought leadership opportunities where appropriate.
  • Represent Bell's cybersecurity awareness program in internal and external forums.


Critical Qualifications

  • University degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Education, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity awareness, communications, culture change, training, marketing, change management, or a related field.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide awareness and engagement programs.
  • Experience managing teams and delivering results in large, complex organizations.
  • Experience working with senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
  • Program and project management expertise.
  • Experience developing behavioural change and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, threats, and risk management.


Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
