Who we're looking for:

The Senior Manager, Cyber Security Awareness is accountable for the strategy, governance, and continuous improvement of the enterprise cyber risk awareness program. Reporting to the Director, Cyber Security Governance, Risk & Compliance, this role leads the evolution of cyber security awareness from traditional training delivery to behavioural resilience, secure decision-making, and sustained culture change across employees, contractors, executives, and third parties.

This leader will own the enterprise cyber security awareness and communications strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with policies and risk priorities, and delivers measurable reductions in human-enabled cyber risk.

What you'll do

Key Outcomes (What Success Looks Like)
  • Sustained reduction in risky user behaviours when faced with repeated exposure to social engineering, identity compromise, and fraud-related threats
  • Improved security reporting rates and time-to-report, contributing to earlier detection and reduced impact
  • Demonstrable improvement in secure decision-making and security first behaviours, not just training completion
  • Targeted resilience uplift for high-risk groups (e.g., executives, finance approvers, privileged users, customer data handlers)
  • A governed, scalable enterprise cyber security awareness operating model aligned to policies, standards, and risk priorities
  • Clear, executive ready reporting that links behaviour trends to cyber risk outcomes
  • A high-performing, engaged awareness and communications team

Core Responsibilities

1) Strategy, Governance & Program Ownership
  • Own and evolve the enterprise cyber security awareness and human risk management strategy, including the annual roadmap and campaign plan
  • Establish and maintain program governance, standards, and operating model for awareness, training, communications, and behavioural interventions
  • Prioritize initiatives based on threat intelligence, incident trends, fraud patterns, and identity-based risk
  • Lead Cyber Security focused awareness and training initiatives

2) Behavioural Resilience & Program Delivery
  • Design and lead a cyber security awareness program that goes beyond awareness to shape secure behaviours, habits, and decision-making
  • Develop and deliver targeted, risk-based campaigns addressing threats such as AI-enabled social engineering and deepfake threats, identity-based attacks, and remote work behavioural risks
  • Oversee phishing and social engineering simulations as behavioural learning tools, not compliance exercises
  • Build a multi-channel communication strategy to support Cyber Security awareness activities and establish a consistent voice for Cyber Security

3) Measurement, Insights & Continuous Improvement
  • Define and track meaningful KPIs and KRIs (e.g., phishing reporting rates, susceptibility trends, repeat risk behaviours, behaviour change indicators)
  • Use insights from simulations, real incidents, fraud attempts, and identity signals to adapt campaigns and interventions
  • Provide clear, reporting and storytelling on human cyber risk for different audiences and levels

4) Stakeholder Influence & Enterprise Collaboration
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Cyber Security, Fraud, Privacy, HR, Legal, Corporate Communications, and Corporate Learning teams
  • Influence without authority by aligning stakeholders to shared risk outcomes
  • Partner with business leaders to embed secure behaviours into day-to-day operations and decision-making

What you bring
  • Demonstrated experience designing and leading enterprise cyber security awareness or human risk programs
  • Proven ability to translate evolving cyber threats into practical behavioural interventions
  • Strong program and stakeholder management experience in a large, complex organization
  • Undergraduate degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field
  • Strong written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills
  • Experience leading and developing professional teams
