SummaryWe are seeking a Manager, Credit Balance Audits to lead and oversee audit operations focused on identifying and recovering healthcare overpayments. This role is responsible for managing audit teams, ensuring compliance with healthcare reimbursement regulations, driving operational performance, supporting client satisfaction initiatives, and maintaining strong provider and stakeholder relationships. Your role in our mission- Leads, coaches, and develops Credit Balance Audit staff, including hiring, performance management, mentoring, and professional development.
- Oversees daily audit operations to ensure compliance with client requirements, organizational standards, and applicable healthcare reimbursement regulations.
- Monitors departmental performance, productivity, revenue targets, and budget objectives; implements corrective actions when necessary.
- Develops, improves, and implements operational processes to enhance efficiency, quality, risk mitigation, and client satisfaction.
- Provides training, guidance, and subject matter expertise to audit staff, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
- Reviews audit findings and ensures accurate reporting of results through written reports, presentations, and stakeholder communications.
- Establishes and maintains strong relationships with providers, clients, and internal business partners to support successful audit outcomes and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborates with operational, compliance, finance, and client teams to address business needs and achieve contract goals.
- Oversees client implementations and startup activities, including staffing plans, training programs, workflow development, and documentation of client-specific requirements.
- Ensures compliance with HIPAA requirements and organizational policies related to audit activities and protected health information.
- Supports departmental budgeting activities and monitors revenue performance against established goals.
- Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement and operational excellence through data analysis and performance monitoring.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What we're looking for- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing healthcare audit, revenue cycle, reimbursement, claims, or credit balance teams.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, revenue cycle management, credit balance audits, and claims processing.
- Experience managing operational performance, productivity metrics, budgets, and revenue goals.
- Experience building and maintaining provider and client relationships while leading teams in a healthcare environment.

The pay range for this position is $98,800.00 - $141,100.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
